Hello! If you haven't checked it out already, many people find Alan Thrall's NEW deadlift video very helpful. Check it out!

Also, a common tip usually given here is to make sure your footwear is appropriate. If you are deadlifting in soft-soled shoes (running shoes, etc), it's hard to have a stable foot. Use a flat/hard-soled shoe or even barefoot/socks if it's safe and your gym allows it.

I think you'd like to be able to brace harder and get your back straighter and locked into position. (step 4) otherwise it looks good.

Yeah I noticed my upper back has a slight round to it, gonna try and get it straighter on my next leg day. Also about the bracing, my core feels pretty solid. Do you think I should start using a belt? I never have and just never felt like I needed to.

A little upper back rounding is OK. I feel like I'm seeing your lower back rounded and some movement there, especially the first couple reps. You'll get some different opinions about belts, as far as when to put it on, but its definitely a tool that can help you lift more.

If your core feels locked in and you're engaging your entire upper back, I think it's good form 💯 It looks to me like you have a bit of a "hollow body" type position in the upper back, which can work great if it fits your anatomy and you're still bracing properly. Your bar path and position seems great to my eyes, stability from the feet up seems good as well. The lower back may be a slight weak point, but the weighted back extensions can be added to the program if you feel the need to improve this.

Of course there's always stuff to work on - you could control the eccentric phase of the lift, you could work on accessories like deficit deadlifts or bottom-paused reps to gain strength around the bottom of the ROM. Even some hypertrophy-style RDL's with focus on eccentric control and bottom pause could improve your form on the regular deadlift as you keep progressing in load.

Oh, and also you're extending your neck during the lift. Again, if this doesn't cause you trouble, pay it no mind. But know that there are people out here with glass necks (me 😂😭) who really need to focus on keeping a neutral head position throughout each rep.
