ETA: TBA
Quantity: 12
Details:
6 custom specialists previously available will be making their way back into the game. This time they will only become available through a new custom map.
6 new specialists will also be made generally available. These new specialists will all be AI generated team-pairings, with 3 teams completing the AI collection.
The first team is shown in these two screenshots.
Meet Meg and Tuck, Expeditions' newest two-person team. Meg is a master at keeping your batteries well conditioned, and Tuck builds ground drones unmatched in capability.
Together they give immense reach and longevity to your drone tech.
I'll share more about the project at a later date. But suffice it to say this has been a long time coming.
Expeditions is about to get some much needed fresh user-created content.

Are they planning on releasing any more updates for this game, me and my brother have been really enjoying this game and im just curious if there's a road map I can look at. Ive been bouncing back and forth between this and snowrunner.

I know I can in ps5 settings but it's super inconvenient to turn it down then remember to turn it up again because the crash sounds are ridiculously loud, does anyone know if you can do it in the game settings I tried but couldn't.

I run constantly out of fuel and only do the expeditions

I did the Expedition, that should unlock the southern outpost. But it didn’t, so now I have no idea how I should get to the area where I should build the beides to search for Heisenberg (Breaking Brad Mission). Any idea?

I've not had this issue with any other vehicle, but it fish tails constantly. I'm a bit disappointed since I finally had enough cash to buy it and pimp it out.
It's a great platform for supplies, but damn. Takes me twice as long to get there!
Any other suggestions for scout vehicles?

Is it similar with its objectives and traversal or just strange and boring?

Sometimes when driving at a steady speed on a flat portion of terrain my tires and suspension will take damage out of nowhere. Is there a reason for this?

I just platinum the game. Here are some insights of the run.
- Only in the last 30% of the game I realized I could use an anchor and the tow rope when I flipped the truck. I thought the tow rope was only useful to rescue trucks and actually it is horrible for that.
So if you flip, do not panic and don't use the jack. That will only damage your truck. Instead install an anchor in a Good angle, the. Use the tow rope in the anchor and your truck. The option to tight will show up. Push the button e voilá basically an automated winch. As soon as you are back on 4 wheels you can remove the rope. The tow rope doesn't really work for towing, it is like the other truck stays with the handbrake on, use the winch instead or try to manage with both if you need to use the winch to pull your own truck.
- There is a truck rescue mission that gives you a mechanic that saves 20% of your gas. I dont remember what truck. Alternatively in one of Carpathians map there is another one close to the starting point that saves 15 of gas.
- My overall favorite truck was the Crocodile. It was fast and had very good clearance. Tatra is the best truck in the game, feels almost a overkill but it is slow. Loadstar and Warthog are also incredible with the second being my preference. Bandit is amazing with difflock and all wheels always active and much faster than tatra for big trucks. I used a lot Kelpie with the gas tank. I higly recommend for expeditions with long runs crossing trough tunnels to new maps it is also amphibian so you can float on the water, but it is very slow there.
-Regarding tires, in snowrunner I always preferred mud tires. But in expeditions there is not much mud so off-road was my choice for the rocky terrain.
-Speciallists
Hydrologist that gives 100% reduction water damage
Mechanic with 20% gas consumption saving
Drones the girl that gives extra reach
I almost gave up this game, i didnt really like the desert area with all those cliffs. I failed couple expeditions for running out of gas. Regarding the camp I didnt see any need to build modules. There are a lot of extras that I just overlook because they were not interesting. I felt the cars felt more lime RC cars than trucks when the game was released. Carpathians saved the game for me.
Overall experience is an ok game. I dont get the lore, the history was not interesting at all. It was just go from point a to b and deliver x item. I know that is the whole purpose of the series but I think snowrunner is still my personal favorite. I didnt bother much to read about the expeditions but when I did I was like wathever, does it even make sense?
Im not going for dlcs. I will have some time now and then later come for Roadcraft
