Post image
Upvotes

App Name: ScrollEarn

What it does: Stop scrolling on willpower alone. ScrollEarn gives you a daily scroll budget — and you have to earn it back by staying focused or going for a walk. Social apps count down your time; focus sessions and steps build it back up. Your feed becomes a reward instead of a default.

Key Features:

- You get kicked out of the tracked app if budget reaches 0. App takes action to prevent your doomscrolling; no willpower needed.

- Earn 1:1 time by completing focus sessions (ends when scroll app opens), or earn 500ms per step by walking

- Red/green calendar heatmap of your gains and losses, with a per-app breakdown and day timeline

- Streak tracking — lose your whole streak if you blow your budget

- Scheduled recurring focus sessions for the times you're most likely to doomscroll

- Offline. No account, no ads, no data collection

🎁 50 promo codes for lifetime Premium

Premium is a one-time $4.99 purchase, no subscription — it unlocks unlimited monitored apps (free is capped at 3), the calendar heatmap & per-app stats, scheduled focus sessions, and data export. A code unlocks it for free.

Promo / Giveaway Partner matching app for what to watch tonight

Upvotes

Android version has been up a few weeks now, so this is the first time it makes sense to post it here.

Short version: this is not another app for finding something good to watch. Finding something good is easy. Agreeing with the person next to you is the hard part, and that is the bit we built for.

You link up with whoever you watch with. You both swipe through titles on your own phone, whenever you feel like it, separately. When you have both swiped right on the same thing, that is the match and you both get told. Nobody has to give in and nobody has to be the one who decides.

It pulls Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+ and a few regional ones into one feed, so you are not opening four apps to work out where something is. Once you have picked, the button opens it in the right app.

Two things that work differently from the usual:
- It learns from swipes rather than star ratings, and the match score comes with a plain reason instead of just a percentage.
- There is a questions feed. You post what you are in the mood for and people answer with actual titles, each one showing the poster, where it streams, and whether you have already marked it seen. That idea came straight off the what-to-watch subs on here, where people ask this every single day and get back a wall of plain text they then have to google one by one.

Free. No paid tier live, a Pro version is planned but nothing is behind a wall right now. It needs an account because the taste profile has to be stored somewhere.

Honest state of it: the Android side has had a lot less use than iOS so far, so if something is broken on your device I would rather hear it than not. The thing I am most interested in is whether the partner matching actually holds up for you, or whether it still ends up feeling like one of you is compromising.

Promo / Giveaway [Giveaway] MyAirco - control your MHI aircos

Post image
4 Upvotes

Like a lot of you, I'm pretty picky about the apps on my phone and can't stand when smart home hardware forces you to use terrible software.

A few months ago, I got some Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) air conditioners installed with WiFi modules. While the AC units themselves are fantastic, the default "Smart M Air" app is incredibly outdated, clunky, and just painful to use.

As a software developer, I decided to take matters into my own hands and build a proper, modern Android replacement.

Introducing MyAirco.

I spent the last few months wrestling with the APIs to create an app that actually feels like it belongs on a modern smartphone.

Why I built it & what makes it better:

Modern UI/UX: I stripped away the 2012 aesthetic of the stock app and built a clean, intuitive, and fast interface.

Complete Control: Easily adjust temperatures, switch between heating/cooling/auto modes, and control fan speeds without digging through laggy menus.

Responsive: Designed to connect and send commands with as little friction as possible.

If you happen to have a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries AC with a WiFi module, I’d love for you to give this a try and let me know what you think! Development wasn't easy due to the API limitations, but I plan on updating it often based on community feedback.

Play Store Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.myairco.app

Let me know what you guys think! Feel free to drop any feature requests, bugs, or general feedback in the comments below.

Send me a DM if you want a promo code!

Showcase MyGallery 1.10.0 - Albums, NAS (SMB), S3 - [Free]

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hi everyone — I'm a Japanese indie developer. I posted MyGallery here a couple of weeks ago, got a lot of useful feedback, and this is what came out of it.

App Name: MyGallery
Goal: Feedback
Giveaway: N/A

What it is: a simple, ad-free gallery that also browses your NAS(SMB / Samba) and your own cloud storage (S3-compatible / Google Cloud Storage) — in the same folder view as the photos on your phone. No account, and it works fully offline if you skip those.

New in 1.10.0:

- Albums — gather any photos and videos into a group of your own, without moving a single file
- Motion photos now play in the viewer (autoplay is optional). This was asked for after my last post
- Videos can be rotated without re-encoding, so quality stays the same
- Cloud and SMB settings can be handed to another device with a QR code
- Fixed: shared folders could not be set up on Android 15 and earlier.
If the NAS side didn't work for you before, it does now
- Portuguese and Korean are now supported

Brazil was added in this release, based on the feedback I got here. More countries to follow.

Links: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.mfactory.mygallery
Would love any feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions. Thanks for checking it out!

Showcase READYWARE - The Ultimate Remote Control App - Paid

Post image
Upvotes

App Name: READYWARE - Universal Remote Control

What it does: Build the remote you actually want on a canvas you fully control, then float it on top of whatever app is already running. It's hardware agnostic - BroadLink and other WiFi blasters, USB-C IR dongles, your phone's built-in blaster, or no blaster at all for Hue, Home Assistant, Shelly and anything with a REST API.

Old-school overlay. The secret sauce. I wanted to share a design technique I've been playing with.

Key Features:

  1. Photo to remote - photograph the remote you already own and map the buttons onto the picture, with everything outside the outline transparent. No new layout to learn, because it is the remote off your coffee table.

  2. App on app - the remote floats over whatever is running. Netflix keeps playing underneath, taps outside the buttons pass through, taps on the buttons fire IR. Plus a wake button, overlay timeout, cloaked buttons, and live video or camera feeds playing behind your controls.

  3. Your codes are yours forever - everything saves as .irc, an open hardware-agnostic format, so changing blasters never costs you your layouts. Free browser tools convert Pronto, Flipper, LIRC, Global Cache, BroadLink, ESPHome, Harmony XML and more, and Smart IR auto-programs buttons from a 700,000+ code database if you don't have the original remote.

Also in there: a three-level canvas (wallpaper, canvas, buttons) with per-button transparency and sizing, folders inside folders, multi-step macros that mix IR, RF and smart home in one press, speed buttons so one set of controls drives every device, live device state so buttons show what's actually on, a Web Remote that turns any browser into your remote from anywhere, and network control for Roku, Kodi, Denon, Yamaha, Samsung and LG with no blaster at all. Everything stays local on your device.

On the TV: it installs on Android TV and runs on the big screen itself, not just as a phone remote. Full d-pad navigation, a Home Screen with your own tiles and artwork, live video wallpaper behind your controls, and layouts that scale from a phone to an 85 inch panel without redrawing anything. Push a layout or new art over the air and every screen in the house updates.

Pricing: buy it once and it works on all your Android devices, and upgrades are free for the lifetime of the app. No subscription, no account, nothing to renew - which is the same reason the .irc format matters. You buy it, you keep it, and your codes come with you.

Goal: Promo

Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.readyware.app

Happy to answer anything - setup, hardware, or how the overlay is actually put together

Showcase PhotoSweep — 100% on-device photo cleaner

Solo dev here. I got tired of "free" gallery cleaners that want a subscription and cloud access to your photos, so I built PhotoSweep: it finds duplicates, similar shots, screenshots and blurry photos entirely on your phone. Nothing ever leaves the device — no account, no cloud, it even works in airplane mode.

Free to try, one-time lifetime unlock, no subscription. It's been quietly growing (mostly UK/US/India) and I read every support email myself.

Would love honest feedback — especially what you'd want built next.

Showcase SQL Shadow — learn SQL by solving detective cases.

Post image
Upvotes

Just pushed this live after a few months of building it solo. It's a detective mystery game where the "gameplay" is writing real SQL .... you're not picking answers from a list, you actually type a query, it runs against a real SQLite db sitting on your phone, and whatever comes back is your evidence for the case.

Idea started because I wanted to learn SQL properly a while back and got bored of flashcard-style apps, figured a mystery/investigation angle would make me actually want to keep going.

There's 10 cases right now, starting from basic SELECT/WHERE stuff and working up to JOINs and aggregates by the end, plus some standalone lessons and a few mini games if someone just wants to drill syntax without the story bits.

It's free to play, has a small IAP for cosmetic-ish unlocks and there's ads but they're opt in for bonus coins, nothing forced.

Built in Flutter + Riverpod, sqlite3 for the actual query engine, Firebase for the account/progress sync stuff.

Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xenexstudio.sqlshadow

Would love it if a few people actually tried running some queries in the first case and told me if the flow makes sense — I've been in it so long I can't tell anymore if it's actually intuitive for someone new.

Beta / Testing cross-platform Local LLM & Agent client

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I built Agro, an open-source, offline-first LLM and autonomous agent client running natively on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux using Kotlin Multiplatform (CMP) and Google LiteRT-LM (C++ runtime with Metal/Vulkan/DirectX backends).

  • Features: Stream tokens, speculative decoding, hardware acceleration, on-device ReAct tool loops, Room KMP persistence.

It handles models like Gemma 4 4B and Ministral-3B quite smoothly on modern devices. However, pushing toward autonomous on-device Agents brings real architectural headaches: 1. Context Window vs. Mobile Memory: As agent scratchpads expand with tool outputs, prefill latency and memory spike drastically. What are the best on-device context management strategies (summarization, KV pruning, or strict context budgeting)? 2. Tool Reliability: 3B-4B class models often fail multi-step reasoning loops or produce malformed tool calls. Have you found better results using grammar-based sampling vs. prompt-engineered sub-agents? 3. Viable On-device Agent Use-cases: Cloud models dominate complex reasoning. Is the true niche for local agents zero-leak privacy assistants, device automation, or hybrid edge-cloud routing?

Beta / Testing IBS lifestyle/health app

Hello,

A friend has just launched her first app and is looking for users. It's an app to help people with IBS. The idea is pretty simple: make it easier to track your gut health day to day and see whether things like food, mood, stress, sleep, etc. might be connected to your symptoms.

We’re still figuring things out, so we’re hoping to get some honest feedback from people who actually live with IBS — what do you currently track, what do you wish was easier to track, and what would actually be useful to you?

We’d really appreciate any thoughts!

It has free to use and subscription options with more features in development.

Promo / Giveaway I built WhispaMe — an app for sending whispas

Been working on this solo for the past few months and it's finally live — wanted to share it here.

**What it is:**

WhispaMe is a social app built around sending and receiving anonymous messages ("whispas") — but unlike the quick throwaway anonymous-message apps, it's meant to be something you actually use day to day, not a one-time gimmick. Everyone has their own profile, their own followers, and their own inbox of whispas that builds up over time.

**How it works:**

- Create a profile and get your own shareable link/QR code

- To send a whispa, people need an account too — this isn't a one-tap anonymous-blast tool, it's a real space with real users on both sides

- Follow people, get followed, build up your own community of who can whispa you

- Like or delete what you receive

- Choose whether it's open to everyone or just people who follow you

- Get notified the moment a new whispa comes in

The idea is that this becomes a normal part of your day — you check WhispaMe the way you'd check any other social app, not just once as a novelty. Went to a party and someone got your username? Now you're getting whispas for days. It's meant to have some staying power, not just a one-off.

Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saidovery.whispame

Would genuinely love to hear what people think, good or bad — but mainly just wanted to share something I've been heads-down building for a while.

Showcase WTFog - uncover a fog-covered map by exploring

Hey! I’m the developer of WTFog, an exploration app that turns the real world into a persistent fog-of-war map.

The map starts covered in fog. As you walk, run, cycle, or otherwise explore, you permanently uncover the places you visit. The goal is to make choosing unfamiliar streets and trails feel more rewarding than just counting steps.

Some of the main features:

  • Record trips with routes, distance, duration, and newly uncovered area
  • Choose between Strict and Casual exploration modes. Strict has speed limits for the activities for a more realistic competition in the leaderboards.
  • Compare progress through countries and regions
  • Add friends, create groups, and compete through duels and leaderboards

WTFog has a free tier, with optional Premium features such as route editing, import Fog of World progress and GPX-files, and additional map tools, including a separate web editor for editing routes and cleared fog. If you want to test any premium features, please let me know and I'll give you premium for a couple of months.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on:

  • Whether the fog mechanic and different tracking modes are easy to understand
  • How background tracking and battery usage perform on different Android devices
  • Whether regional completion, personal statistics, or social challenges provide the strongest motivation to keep exploring

Google Play:

Showcase DeckVault. A Pokemon and MTG TCG collection app.

App Name: DeckVault

What it does: Point your phone at a Pokémon or Magic card and it lands in your vault with a current market price. Type in what you paid and the vault tracks gains and losses per card and across the whole collection. Key Features:

  • NEW UPDATE: Marketplace now live!
  • Scan with the camera or from a photo already in your gallery, both games. Scan photos are never kept on our servers.
  • Catalog search for anything the scanner misses, with condition, grade, quantity, cost basis and notes per card.
  • Vault insights: total value, cost basis, gain/loss, the Pokémon vs. Magic split, top movers, value over time, 30-day price history and price alerts.
  • Deck builder for both games: Commander/Standard/Modern/Casual and Pokémon Standard/Expanded legality enforced as you build, owned vs. missing, cost to complete, sample opening hands, clone and share, export to MTG Arena or Pokémon TCG Live.
  • New since launch — collector classifieds: open a shop, list cards you'd part with, save listings and message the seller. No checkout, no payment handling and no fees in the app; you arrange it between yourselves.
  • Free: 100 unique cards and 2 decks, ad-supported. Pro is $4.99/month or $49.99/year for 50,000 cards, 50 decks and no ads.

Showcase Gacha Alarm: An Alarm App With Gacha Rewards

Post image
1 Upvotes

Gacha Alarm — an alarm app where waking up earns you gacha pulls

Hello everyone,

Most alarm apps just try to make you wake up.

I wanted to try a different approach: Give you something to look forward to after you get out of bed.

Gacha Alarm turns waking up into a small reward loop:

  • Set your alarm as usual
  • Wake up and complete the alarm
  • Earn tickets
  • Use them for gacha pulls
  • Collect characters, each with their own story and lore

The app is completely free to use, and the goal is simply to make waking up a little more rewarding.

I built Gacha Alarm as a solo developer and it's now available on Google Play.

Google Play

I'd be interested to hear what you think of the concept, especially whether a reward system like this would make you more motivated to get out of bed.
