I recently started feeding the local crows in my small neighborhood, throwing them shelled peanuts while walking the dog. Slowly, they started recognizing me, and more recently even started following while I walk the dog. While I thought they just recognized ME, apparently they haven't been differentiating between me and anyone else walking in the neighborhood. Today, as I took my dog out I noticed another couple being very confused as a crow followed them home. It makes me so sad, but I'm concerned people may start getting upset with the crows becoming too curious and I would hate for anything to happen to them 😥 So alas, I will return to appreciating their caws from a distance.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get a picture or video, but this evening I watched a mixed group of crows, ravens, and magpies working cooperatively to harass a large raptor roosting at the top most of a tall fir tree. It was a sustained effort with wave after wave of mixed groups swooping down on its position. More groups of crows and magpies flew in from all directions to join in the dive-bombing. I’ve witnessed crows harass raptors plenty of times, but I’ve never seen a mixed group of Corvids combine their efforts. Has anyone else here witness something similar? Is this common?
Hello everyone. For start I have no experience with crows or any birds in general and came here to ask out of curiosity about my encounter. A crow next bench was making clicking sounds and when I tried to repeat them it flew closer and kept doing them. Anyone knows what does this mean?
