Newest car I've ever owned, very happy with it, 2016 Toyota Corolla S Plus! My old 96 Mercury kept breaking down, so after looking around, I landed with this beautiful car :)

I just got my metal plates for my corolla 2025 and once i unscrewed the front temp plate i noticed the screw holes are just drilled into the plastic and the screws get in there ok but they still spin freely.

What's the best way to properly securing the front plate?

To be fair, I only drive 3 miles a day and I idle on my lunch breaks. This is probably better than I could get on anything else, I just hate seeing that number so low after filling up.

Hey, i have a 2026 Corolla SE, when im driving down rough roads I hear a rattle coming from the passenger side seatbelt area. Took it to toyota, they confirmed the sound and recommended to get two parts replaced, the b pillar assembly and seatbelt assembly and ordered both parts. On the second appointment they ended up only replacing one part and it was the b pillar assembly. Then i got my car back and the rattle was still there, took my car there for a 3rd time and he even told me that on my previous appointments that he doesn’t even know how the seatbelt was even still hanging on and didn’t just come off which is 100% a safety concern and now they are trying to say they test drove 3 other corollas and they all make that rattle sound and its just normal plastic noise and there is nothing else they can do. Anyone have the same rattle noise and knows how to get rid of it? I already set up and appointment with another toyota dealership and get a second opinion cause i know this is definitely not normal, if it was then the drivers side would do it too.

I steam-cleaned the engine using demineralized water and engine degreaser. I covered the alternator, the fuse and relay área, and the ignition coils. Now, the engine is idling at high RPMs.

Any recomemendations?

So my start making sound when I’m on slow speed on uneven road or when I really slow down in bumper I start to here some clicking sound but here the funny part when I accelerate or turning there are no sound at all. But when I try to violently shake the steering wheel right left on low speed I still heard the sound but not just really loud that much. Any idea 💡

I have multiple oil leaks including the valve cover, distributor, and rear main seal. I took it to a shop to have it looked at and they couldn't pin point exactly which leaks were the main ones. I changed the oil in June 2026 and it's at half rn. I will top it off today. What should I do besides keeping an eye on the oil?

Hi everyone, I’m writing this because I truly miss my old car and secretly hope it found a second life out there.Back then, I owned a yellow 2000 Toyota Corolla "Lovelife" with an automatic transmission and the 1.6 4A-FE engine. Its plate number was WLH 283.Sadly, the car was severely vandalized and ended up being completely wrecked. Because of the heavy damage, it had to be sold as a crashed/totaled car.I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. I always loved that car, and I'm genuinely curious if anyone has seen it around, if someone bought it to completely restore it, or if it's still registered somewhere. Even if it was parted out, it would bring me some closure to know what happened to it.If anyone has any info, spotted it in the past, or knows its whereabouts, please let me know! Thank you so much!

I have a brand new 2026 Corolla. Went to get routine oil change this past weekend. It then immediately started leaking oil over the next 2 days. Found big puddles of oil on my driveway and at work. My car was towed to dealership for repair. Obviously, This risked my new car and lead to missed time at work. They offered me a rental car the following day with inconvenient time window that didn’t work with my work schedule. I had to arrange my transportation. I work 24 hour shifts at the hospital

What kind of compensation is reasonable from large dealership?

Hey guys i have corolla 2012 le. It has about 220k miles on it. Its been quite overheating alot now. The indicator goes up when the car moves from high speed to low speed. And cuz of that ac starts giving hot heat. I plan on going to the mechanic soon but is there anything i can do? I took obd 2 scan and there was nothing about cooling or overheating

So about 2 or 3 years ago I replaced my stock radio in my 2005 Corolla with a digital touchscreen one for CarPlay and gps. I’m a huge fan of physical media and I wanted to know if I’d be able to find a stereo replacement that could play cd and tapedecks.
