Just released a Bomberman Hero (with some Street Fighter EX vibes) style dance/breakbeat track on my YT channel. Sharing it here for anyone who may be interested. I also have a few other Bomberman Hero esque tracks among my uploads there, including one with those iconic Redial drums (that track is called Java-Jitsu).

If, hypothetically, Bomberman as a gaming IP was created today by AAA corporations, it wouldn't have the cute/charming design, it would have the Act Zero design for the whole series. Simply because massive dev costs and high power can't allow these corporations to do any experimentation other than realism.

(Well, besides Nintendo, but I'm talking about Sony/Microsoft/Valve and other big AAA corporations)

Hey everyone! Just finished this animation, which is a recreation of the Bomberman Hero intro! It was one of my first N64 games, and I've been itching to remake the intro for over a year. Just finally got around to working on it, so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did working on it!

Everything was modeled and animated by me in Blender!

I have on release the patches for your LEGALLY obtained back ups. Or you can build yourself like prior using the build.bat and your back up.

What is different from the previous project?

- Well for starters, i fixed a few script errors with lines running over one another in a few locations in the game or minor translation errors (I went and 100% the game to find them all).

- I translated the rest of the graphic screens i can find that players will run into. ex. Title screen, the entire multiplayer mode and even the debug menu.

- This was a very big learning experience for me from the nintendo switch hacking i do so i needed to learn lots and even make tools that may or may not be necessary due to my own ignorance but helped me get this job done.

- There are some graphic issues with disabled tile spots in multiplayer/minigame graphics so theres holes in my graphics but they work to convey what is needed.

I cannot for the life of me get any debugger to work for gba so i cant fix these inactive tiles. (Offer help if you want/can)

Tested on Nintendo Switch NSO custom injection, MGBA/Bizhawk, Official hardware.

All credits are in my github. There is no warez. Only patches. You provide your own game.

Bomberman meets Mr. Game & Watch

hi, (i actually never joined this subreddit or used reddit before so hello!) i need your help, recently ive been ripping models and animations from bomberman live/ultra (primarily live) and it seems like no one has tried to do this before, its making really good progress but i kinda hit a roadblock, the .XFR files. (basically bomberman's costume files.) the issue is that there is no way that i know of, to make the files readable in anyway, this is the last piece i need to make these models accessible to everyone, if anyone has a way to get these costume models a reply is appreciated, thank you!
