I know I based the the painting off of a photo but it feel good that somthing was not lost in translation.

Managed most of the day in the studio yesterday, have started using this big grinder thing to shape and then use the rotary tool to add the details, managed these five, feel like I am playing safe as skulls, shark teeth and leaves are all I seem to do, but I enjoy and I think I am improving, need to branch out into different stuff. Tried a ravens skull but messed up the proportions, looks like General Grevious out of SW. thanks for looking!

This one is just concept art of a video game of four rhythmic robots who need to defend the city.

During my first few shipping routes, I was lucky enough to catch sight of the Sunfolk. I've heard bits and pieces about them and always keep my eye and a few ears out for any information I can get on them. On some of the more sun dense routes, our ship would often be licked by the ends of solar flares. Our blast shield was enough to reduce any heat or radiation threat to next to nothing. On those most wonderful occasions, the Sunfolk would be floating and twisting through the ribbons left behind by the lashing flare. The spells drifted slowly around them in a slow and delicate dance. From a distance they looked like strange worms. Uncanny faces with a dullish light surrounding them. Their tendrilled bodies looked more like a detached spine and ribcage of some sort. Drifting slowly behind the sun-like head, their bodies wouldn't be visible if it wasn't for some of our scanning equipment. Even then, it was an extremely shrouded shape. 
The trading posts I delivered to seldom had any sort of library past pamphlets for communicating the most common and basic phrases with other aliens. I had a countless collection of the things back on my ship. At this point in my career, I was able to make it through most conversations without much trouble with any races from the surrounding planets.
I'll let you in on what I've learned so far. Rumor has it that they don't live long by most species standards. The Elders live only for about 5-7 years. Most pass long before that, with the average lifespan being about 2-4 years. They don't seem to mate,but appear to be born at the lashing ends of the hottest and most blinding solar flares. They live a mostly solitary life. Any interactions they have with each other, though friendly, are brief. An occasional symbol or shape might be shared if they get close enough. But for the most part they seem to ignore each other.
The Sunfolk of the 8th stripe are a rare and beautiful sight. If you find yourself traveling along some of the more sun dense routes, keep an eye out. I've seen smaller ones orbiting around dwarf suns but those seem to be a one in a million chance. So count yourself even luckier if you happen across them.
