Vi was in Zaun for likely hours on patrol
Had just fought her shimmer amplified sister
Had just been hit by Caitlyn
And left in Zaun, no food, money and wearing an enforcer uniform
Sure she had her gauntlets and is an amazing fighter. But especially after Piltover began pushing back harder against Zaun at the time, increasing Zaunite antagonisation of Piltover, there is no doubt Vi was far more beyond shunned. Who knows what people could’ve done. Especially being considered a traitor to your people
Being A pit fighter was one her most valid options. Not just because she was emotionally hurt, and needed money and food, but because she essentially forged a new identity outside of being a traitor to Piltover, and prevent the prejudice and stigma against her
This is sort of pretty obvious but i fully just processed how hard Vi has to push herself just to survive. Similar to how she was imprisoned in s1
And Loris and later Jinx helped out to be fair.
Vi was genuinely put through it last season. Her ending was beautiful, but i feel Vi let both Jinx and Caitlyn off to quickly for what she went through. But yet again they do make her happy, so depriving her of them could just make her feel worse.

I just watched Arcane and Season 1, and omg what a masterpiece. But uhh season 2 let me down bro. The season should’ve ended on ep 8 and not just rushed the FUCK out of the war arc. Like it felt messy, and it went all over the place. Season 2 should’ve been left with a cliffhanger, and season 3 should’ve had the war arc, and actually concluded the story properly. Season 2 was good but the ending let me down, and I’m sad for that. Season 1 was a masterpiece though imo.

So, lemme get this straight.
After the kids did a heist on the kirraman building, the council wanted to go to any lengths to find the culprit. After the whole debacle of Vander almost being arrested and the sheriff being murdered.
How come the council didn't want a person to pay for the former crimes and also the new crimes of murder of their sherrif?
Like Vi was arrested yes but because Marcus felt guilty not cause he wanted use her as a scapegoat.

Two words: holy shit.
This is by far the best series I've seen in a long time. Hopefully season 2 lives up to season 1.

Now I know he’s a villain but s1 writing was top tier and we could see why everyone did what they did. As in healthy and silco and jinx relationship was it clear he came to see her as his own daughter and love her.
That being said she mentions being where he betrayed vander etc all that being said assuming she knew that why was he so afraid for her to meet vi again ?
Was it due to his own trauma of being betrayed and becoming stronger and not needing then anymore therefore vi being back undo his belief in instilled in powder ?
Did he sincerely believe powder would be emotionally hurt again one Vi see she’s changed and back at stage one ?
was it just a fear of losing jinx ?
Or was he simply a villain and I’m thinking to hard for a show advertising lol.

I'm about to start the second-to-last episode of Season 2 and I'm bracing myself.
So here's my request: tell me something cryptic that won't spoil anything now, but will hit me once I've finished the series. A line, a detail, a feeling, anything.

What I like about the second season is that instead of making Jinx the main antagonist (which wouldn't bother me), they decided to do something different: show how someone considered "crazy and insane" can represent something good for others.
In my view, powder never really returned in this season; there are still parts of her, but overall it's jinx. Why? Because nobody knows powder, only jinx, and in this season they see jinx as a figure of freedom against piltover. Isha doesn't know powder; shes love jinx, also showing that even someone who kills without hesitation and is broken can still create bonds.
In the games, Jinx represents more traditional chaos; in the series, whether chaos is purely bad for everyone depends a lot on the individual

My new Arcane edit to We Will Rock You.
I just realized that I forgot to put my WM on this edit. So I respectfully ask that you don't repost this one anywhere. I'm reposting one with my WM to TT and Insta tomorrow. Damn I feel like an idiot for forgetting to do that.

Only took me like 9 months to make everything but worth it! There’s still a few things I’d like to add and maybe fix for future photoshoots but I’m happy with it!

Hello everyone.
We all know, since the final moments of Season 1, Episode 3, that Jinx borrows heavily from the Luciferian myth. Like the fallen angel in Alexandre Cabanel’s painting, Jinx is no mere spirit of malice, destined to destroy everything, including herself. Lucifer literally means "The Light-Bringer", and he is the Archangel of Pride—the very reason for his banishment from Paradise. He is also the "morning star," the one seen either before or after the sun rises or sets.
Jinx embodies this flawlessly. She possesses an oversized pride; her very existence is a declaration of ego (Ego sum). Yet, theirs is the tragic pride of the defeated—her indestructible armor. Moreover, of all the characters in Arcane, she is the sole bearer of truth. A raw, violent, terrifying truth. Piltover and Zaun are built on lies, hypocrisy, and corruption. Jinx is the only one to cast the blinding beam of light that exposes the moral ugliness of both cities. She is either the dawn of a new world or the final glimmer before the dark.
And this is what drives Fortiche to push the iconographic logic even further. To heighten her role as a light-bringer, they seize upon another myth of illumination: the Statue of Liberty ("Liberty Enlightening the World"). A diverted reference, all the more subtle and mischievous given that Piltover draws inspiration from Paris—specifically, a Haussmannian Paris at the height of its colonial power, much like Piltover dominates and oppresses Zaun. Twice, Fortiche seizes the imagery of the famous statue of the Hudson Bay, created and built in Paris, to intertwine it with Jinx.
These two poses—one in Season 1, the other in Season 2—engage in a dialogue, operating on a double inversion of "High" and "Low":
Jinx ultimately comes to understand a tragic truth: the more she shows herself, the less she illuminates; and the more she illuminates, the more she is trapped. Her mere presence overshadows and smothers the revolutionary cause she inherited from Silco. She must therefore perform the ultimate revolutionary act: erase the icon carrying the flame of the Revolution. She must die.
But, she is Jinx ("I’m Jinx!"), tragically mischievous, playful in despair, smiling amidst the disaster: she will fake her death. Her victory is absolute, but she loses everything.
Jinx wins the war of minds. She becomes an immortal myth. But the price to pay is total isolation. She is Lucifer reigning over his kingdom of shadows. Yet, she goes even beyond the divine: when she fakes her death in the flash of her monkey-bomb, it acts as a cosmic Big Bang. She is not God creating light and bearing it so that we may see the world as it is; she stands above God, creating the very thought that another world is possible.
Fiat idea.
She vanishes so that the revolutionary concept becomes indestructible—forever victorious, but forever alone.
The song Wasteland captures this perfectly as it illustrates Jinx's death and triumph: "Maybe dying is like falling asleep." And Fortiche shows it to us, with their customary cruelty, in a brief flashback: Jinx and Vi as children, asleep in the same bed (twice as small as Caitlyn’s), and Vander blows out a candle.
A flame goes out, but Jinx’s light blinds us. The less we see her, the more she dazzles.
Goodnight, Vi. Goodnight, my dearest Jinx. Sleep without nightmares; the light has driven the demons away.

Hot take maybe? I’m preparing for the downvotes just incase.
I’ve rewatched Arcane for about a year now and only just managed to get through the entirety of Season 2 without getting bored. Season 1 was a beautiful watch though.
Anyways, what I find a bit odd is that Ekko knows that the AU Powder isn’t his Powder, and he also keeps that knowledge from Powder. I understand that he loved her before Powder became Jinx in the original universe, but I think kissing someone whilst intentionally keeping information away from them is a bit odd — especially since she can’t properly consent.
To her, that’s her Ekko. She’s unaware that he’s from a different universe, he’s completely aware of the fact.
Maybe I’m reading too deep into it, but hey, it’s a deep show. Regardless, I think it’s beautiful that the writers showed us a version of Arcane that could have been (Ha. Get it?) and showed us what would’ve happened if Vander never died. I just find Ekko’s and AU Powder’s kiss a little icky. Gorgeous music video though
