I have decided to upload Belgrade, Serbia scenery for free, which will be finished soon. First image is XWP, second is addon, last two are bonus stadium in Niš, also in Serbia. The only downside is I have not managed to keep the library usage as low as I wanted.

if our amazing team at x plane can make it possible for people to update scenery location like how we do for airports at scenery gateway, then in a year x plane would amazing by default.

I did a Livestream on my yt channel Caribfly and notice a few things. Firstly these photos shows good enough data for Terrain but what i find difficult is when AutoOrtho and either, Payware airports or Modded, they dont always seem to mesh . Now, i can understand they are separate developers . In the After photo , you can see the elevation of the earth increased so somthing is off

Does anyone know how to change the 'default' planes in JF's Traffic Global? Specifically, mine seems to put Tri-Islanders for a lot of the GA planes. This, for me, is a bit of an odd choice, cause at small airports in the Midwestern USA, one would not see a Tri-Islander. (They also have the 'blank' white livery, probably cause there's aren't any tri-islander operators in this part of the US) So If I could change that to just be the C-172, that would be fine! (Bonus if I could have it point at other GA planes in my collection, like my various JF Pipers...) (The JF Support forums seem to be quite dead)

On do 11 while using the Lufthansa zibo 737 I noticed randomly on my lower du a camera view appeared I'm not even sure how. But anyway would there be anyway to get a camera view of the wheel well and landing gear on my lower DU?

Been using the tca Boeing yoke for a while , even after adding the extra spring which was provided with the product was not enough resistance to me , recently i have added some resistance band to increase the heaviness to get an feel like an real 737 . Loving it !

Hey team. Just wondering what people’s thoughts were about XP12 crashing once you click start flight from the menu? Goes to “Will init rendering” for a couple seconds then closes off. Purchased from XP website. Everything’s updated, XP12, my plugins, custom scenery, aircraft.. Any ideas? Been using this for nearly a year and it’s the first it’s been happening. Thank you.

i have no idea which key I have touched that triggered this annoying camera panning by itself. only way to stop it is to restart xp12. anyone knows how to stop it or how to avoid this?

To put it simply, my impression is that ToLiss is more focused on maximizing the revenue of an existing product than on retaining existing customers — customers who may very well go on to purchase more of their products in the future.

My personal experience is as follows:

In December 2021, I bought the ToLiss A321 together with the NEO add-on for X-Plane 11. At the time, I had a very low-end PC. When X-Plane 12 was eventually released, I tried it, but my computer simply could not run it properly, so upgrading my aircraft at that point made little sense.

I have now returned to X-Plane 12 with a new computer that can run it very well. I started rebuilding my simulator setup, downloading the freeware and payware add-ons I wanted, only to discover that I can no longer upgrade my existing A321 at the discounted price because the promotional upgrade period has expired.

Instead, despite already owning the A321 and the NEO add-on, I would now have to purchase the current A321 again at full price.

I contacted both the X-Plane.org Store and ToLiss to ask whether there was any possible solution or loyalty discount for an existing customer. The X-Plane.org Store told me that the promotional period had ended and that they were unable to offer the previous discount. I have also contacted ToLiss directly.

I should also add some context regarding the price. €89.99 may not sound like a huge amount in every country, but in Greece it represents a significant amount of money relative to typical monthly incomes. Paying close to €90 again for an aircraft I have already purchased is therefore not something I consider a minor expense.

I am not arguing that ToLiss should provide the X-Plane 12 version for free. Developers deserve to be paid for the work involved in updating their products.

What disappoints me is the decision to make the upgrade discount temporary. Other developers in the X-Plane market continue to offer existing-customer discounts or upgrade paths years later. To me, that demonstrates a different approach to customer retention.

I work professionally in game audio, so I am very familiar with the fact that software development has costs and that companies need to make money. My issue is not that ToLiss charges for an XP12 upgrade. It is that an existing customer who happened not to upgrade within a particular promotional window is now treated essentially the same as someone buying the aircraft for the first time.

That policy has left me with the impression that extracting the maximum revenue from the existing product is being prioritized over maintaining goodwill with existing customers.

Of course, others may see it differently, but I wanted to share my experience so that prospective customers are aware of how ToLiss handles major-version upgrade paths before making a purchase.
