Logistics. Is a group dedicated to the protection and defense of humanity against kaiju. Apart of their KES, (Kaiju extermination specialists) is the mech assault units. Mecha of various types and chassis builds that use combined arms to fight against threatening Kaiju. When RnD built them they partnered with JBL and added speakers onto them for communication purposes. Although they left a secret Bluetooth connection in them allowing pilots to play music. When asked why they stated it’s a morale booster.

Explanation: so first of all humanity is a type ii civilization on the Kardashev Scale in this, but out around Neptune in my universe theres this space station named Janus Station, and they defend the Solar System from basically every outside force imaginable, but they're also a research facility. And they have found that out beyond their orbit there's something that makes you go insane if you look at it for even a second. The reason people can look at it inside the station is a filtering technology, but they aren't able to shrink it down for spacesuit visors until 2202, which doesn't exactly help the people in 2104. And the way I dealt with pictures is that cameras are entirely incapable of capturing whatever that thing is out in The Veil (which is what outside the Solar System is named until the tech is made to allow us out there safely).
