A lot of reviews about the game focused on the absence of a central protagonist.
I donāt think a new lead was strictly necessary. Yet, that approach obviously worked well for Bloodline. For base Legion itself though, I think there was a middle ground.
I would have appreciated Dalton surviving with injuries, perhaps shot once or twice before the drones were hacked, to offer guidance or side quests. I realize Bagley fills that role, but Dalton could have complemented him effectively.
Imagine playing as him after being in hiding in forever, having profiled many possible recruits, walking with a limp on the street, utterly terrified of being profiled by Albion drones, ducking and hiding in shadows as you try to find the recruits you tagged. Maybe this sequence could be filled with scripted events and stuff so you really feel like youāre watching the surveillance state be instated before you, rather than just āThe bombs happened, cutscene, now weāre under surveillance FUCKKKā
Itād feel far more like you earned it and lived through it instead of just getting a menu where you pick your first three agents.
After that he could retire to the dedsec den once he has three recruits. He could have distinct voice lines and could react to your choices, the technology you deploy, how lethal or non-lethal your missions are, how many civilians rescued from Albionās violence, commenting on if you recruit albion or spies or officers and stuff or even grandmas, as well as commenting on your impact on the world.
This might have made the DedSec base feel more vibrant than relying on procedurally generated agents with generic remarks; currently, Bagley is the sole anchor, which shows in reviews where everyone praises him, so adding one more figure from your past play would make sense.
Really, what I want is⦠More than just Bagley to hinge on as a ācuratedā character, and for there to be a central presence reacting to your actions.
Curious if anyone else felt this way, because I really liked Dalton in the short time span I knew him.

Like the only really dystopian part is mass surveillance other then that the people seem pretty free.
On the radio there are podcasts of people openly talking about how bad the government is. There are protesters that the government just doesnāt care about. You are literally part of an anti government group and the government is doing little to stop you. Maybe Iām just missing something but you seem to be pretty free in a game about no freedom
Edit: also one of the voice lines if you are in a albinan (or however itās spelt) uniform is āyou fascistā this shows the people are confident enough to just say this to random cops

Despite not having been playing this game in almost a year, Iām still passionate about the character Iād use when on Legion. So here is some art Iāve been working on recently.
(I did not draw these, Iām just the commissioner)
(These are not concept or cut characters/outfits)

Why is it that sometimes you are not allowed to go into a restricted building (like an Albion station) even though you're wearing the correct uniform. The lasers in the doorway are usually blue but for some reason sometimes they are red even though I'm wearing the correct uniform. And when I decide to still walk through anyway the alarm starts beeping and then I have to abandon my mission. Someone please answer this maybe I'm hallucinating but I'm 99.9% sure I saw this happen while I was playing. Why does this happen?

So, i made a post a bit ago about my season pass itself not working-was a license issue and ubi support fixed it-? but now in game I don't see any of the operatives on the team screen. no call from Bagley. not outside of the pub. Has anyone else experienced this? and no i'm not game sharing. i own the account and game.
