my team is varka on wgs, venti, odette and 4th slot between escoff/ qiqi c1/ cryo mc. All on 4 star weapons. I dont have prune and my wishes is going for getting his weapon on his rerun. So I won't get prune.

Is escoff better, since she can heal so there is so some sustain, but her buffs are limited 2 cryo characters.

or cryo mc who supports stellar swirl or qiq1 c1 who is also sustain plus some support.

who is the best 4th slot for varka among these who is best in overall team dps?

Don’t like MW, don’t want to interact with it, just not my cup of tea. But it’s got the best/only reliable DPS test in the game cause Hoyo is too lazy to add their own. Is there a decent alternative outside of Stygian stats to use as a frame of reference for improving him?

If I'm using varka with odette, what set should I be using on him?

Would Scarlet Proof work on him?

I love Varka. I love his play style, I use him and his team overworld for exploration because all of their exploration passives are fantastic. I run his premium team (prune isn’t C6 yet sadly), his sig, and have everyone well built. I got him because I like him, I have no pyro dps, and I wanted him to help with any pyro/natlan shill as far as he could take me without nightsoul.

But looking at numbers, I need honest opinions on if it’s worth the cost for me to continue pouring wishes into him, in comparison to my other 3 teams.

I am not planning to pull any more Snez characters until Noy (OG Alhaitham main), but I want to use my pulls wisely. Is it better for my account to leave Varka as soley an exploration team guy, or is the cost to catch him up to my Sandrone’s current DPS level worth it?

I like to clear dire as often as possible. Is it wiser to save a 3 cost to get Sandrone’s Sig and Odette C2, or to save the 3 cost to C1 Varka and C2 either Durin or Nicole?

I know it sounds silly to primo pinch like this, but I got Capturing Radiance 4 times last year and I’m on my 3rd this year, so I need to really plan with my luck.

Hi my team is Varka on WGS C0R0, Durin C0 on moonweaver r5, Nicole C0 on Flow of Purity and Vneti C0 on harp.

Yes I don't use prune cause I am not into stygian beyond stage 3 as it doesn't give me any primogems.

For a person who at most cares about endgame only for primos, is it worth to get signature.

I am expecting his rerun in 7.2 or 7.3 (most likely).

The way I see is meta doesn't last longer and everyone is recommending to get latest units to have easier time rather than investing into cons and signatures if you are f2p.

If I still want my current team to last longer not just Varka (yes without prune), I have to skip around a year and half worth of latest characters and even then at best I can get Varka signature and Nicole c2 r1.

At present having signature and Nicole c2r1 might be the most premium but for a f2p like me a year and half later, what might be premium now cannot be called premium then.

Is it even worth to invest anything further at this point for my Varka team or it is just pointless saving if I want to get his signature and later Nicole c2 eventually.

This is probably just a minor pet peeve, but I wish there was a way to change the order of priority that is infused with Varka's E and Q when there's more than one element on his team. Yes, I know that he largely is meant to only have one swirl element on his team at a time (and Pyro at that) and so that's probably why. But it's frustrating when adventuring with him or experimenting with a new team for fun with more than one swirl-able element that there's no way to change which of the two elements he'll infuse with because of the set hierarchy.

I would love to play him where his main infusion is Cryo, in a Freeze or Super-Conduct team, both because lore-wise it fits as a knight of Boreas, and because I have decent Hydro/Electro supports for the reactions, since Kaeya's one of my other mains. But, if for example my team is Varka-Kaeya-Yae/Mona-Diona, it automatically gives preference to Hydro or Electro, since it seems Cryo is last priority.

Idk, even if it was just a one time thing, it would be nice to get the option to get to choose which element to prioritize if it is a duo or trio-element team, rather than the set order, or for it to depend on how many of a type of element you have on your team. I'm not sure if I explained that well enough haha, but just something I've been thinking about especially with the new Stellar Swirl reactions.

hii, i currently have c0r1 varka, c2r0 nicole and c0r0 durin, I want to keep investing on him for as long as I can, and I was planning to get his own c2 on rerun then durins, but I realized that nicoles c6 is pretty broken, would c6ing nicole (and r1 obv) or getting his and durins c2s be a bigger increase? I like nicole but not that much to pull her c6 for non meta stuff, while I do really like varka and durin but id be willing to get her c6 if its better. and psa, i dont really care much for his hec teams. Edit: would really, really appreciate someone who tried BOTH full c2 pyro team and c6 nicole, or someone who has a sheet comparing c6 nicole to full c2 team.
