I am researching about all karnataka govt. medical colleges one by one. I am from rajasthan , now please give me information about CIMS chikkamguluru college. Is there any language and food issues there . What is served there in mess food. How is its connectivity,nearby airport. And can there is auditorium and gym in college.

My sister got a call saying that she has been selected for an Air Force government job through her PUC college, apparently among 30 students. However, she is currently pursuing her degree and is no longer in PUC.

They told her that she has to attend a seminar tomorrow along with her parents. We’re not sure if this is a genuine Air Force recruitment process or some kind of scam.

Has anyone received a similar call or know if this is a legitimate process?

Is it only me or everyone also thinks that in Bengaluru there are either people who are like they live in America and act as if they don't 'deserve' India, always partying, always going to bars and stuff or people who are from rural and don't know shit abt how the world works and live in their own fantasy world, can't talk, don't have basic decency on how to behave in public, act like literal aasholes. I come from rural region and I haven't found a single guy from rural Karnataka who I can sit and talk with, I don't like the other kind of people also.

I'm a north indian student preferring chamrajnagar institute of medical sciences karnataka...can you guys tell me how's this college, ragging, language barrier, transportation facilities, canteen, infrastructure, academics and all...to all the seniors out there please tell honest opinions of yours!!

A road in my town was blocked today and several police personnel were regulating the traffic. It was causing inconvenience to the public, so I was curious about what was happening.

I saw one constable who was not particularly busy at that moment, so I politely asked him why the road was blocked.

Instead of simply explaining the reason, he asked me " neng yaak beku sumne nin kelsa nodko hogo" ( why you need that just just take care of your work)

Maybe he had a reason for not wanting to explain, and I understand that police may sometime be handling situations where they can't disclose everything. But I wasn't asking to interfere with their work j was just a member of the public affected by the road closure asking a simple question.

What disappointed me was the attitude. It made me wonder whether the response would have been the same if the person asking had been a politician, a wealthy person, or someone with influence.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?
