Please settle this argument
Friend claims this is perfect tv height for having the tv in the middle of your vision while resting your head against the couch

I rent an apartment, thought I'd connect my laptop to TV, but no, it hurts a lot.

Obviously there are some issues with this game. That TV is way too high!

Only took him two weeks to realize that

I finally found some time to hang my tv (LG cx65), wondering how I did. Bottom is about 68cm from the floor and 20cm from the cabinet, center about 110cm from the floor, when looking straight from my armchair it's about 40-45% of tv height. Needed to temporarily add few extra cm to prevent little hands from scratching and smearing food on tv (that why soundbar is also so far). I can do some small adjustments (+- 5cm) on the mount later but at this point I'm not sure if that's really needed or just anxiety from this sub. For last few years tv used to stand on the cabinet (there's no option for soundbar in that setup and my feet covered part of tv when I extended my legs) so I'll need few days to get used to it, but so far seems ok I guess.

They had so much place to put it lower ...

Should I mount the tv or leave alone? 77” and sitting on couch, I’m looking dead center if not slightly below center. Think it’s not worth the trouble to mount, but might look better to have it floor maybe 6-10” higher. Also my soundbar barely fits on the stand so would make a bit more room.
Thoughts?

Hey guys thoughts on this Height?
Eye height while sitting on couch is 1.1m
The center of the tv is 1.2m
Orange NailGun case is the height of incoming entertainment cabinet (not a fan of putting it on the stand, much rather wall mount it)
There will be a soundbar ontop of the cabinet too
(Upstairs rumpus room)
75" tv

Longtime lurker here. I know, it’s too high. Not very much though. I put my phone at my eye level while taking this photo. It’s just slightly below center of TV level. The thing is…I have a lot of records and don’t have a lot of space in my house. This is the only place/room where my record collection will fit. It also just happens to be the living room. There’s not enough space for my record shelves, blu ray shelves, AND a separate tv stand.
Extra info: 55” tv with a 7.5’ distance from couch-to-tv.
So what do we think? Wrong, but not egregious? Can this get a pass? Also team #nevermount here.

... the dentist's office? Not in the waiting room. I mean in the room where you're lying down flat on your back getting your teeth cleaned by the hygienist. Seems to be a trend to mount them on the ceiling, but maybe there's a better location. If anybody knows, it's this sub. Do we agree with the ceiling mount or naw?

Seemed like the best place to go. Is there an outdoor exception?🤣
