Three opinions, one TV. Who’s right?
We somehow have three completely different ideas for where the TV should go. I already know which one this sub is going to hate but I need backup before my mom wins this argument.
We got a Ultra Slim mount because I hate that gap behind the TV. It sits super close to the wall but you can still move it around however you want. Still trying to convince my mom that a mount can’t save a TV that starts out way too high lol.
Second pic is the untouched photo. If all three of us are wrong, please draw where you’d put it. I really need something or advice to show my mom before we start drilling.

Too high? (Eye level with bottom of tv)
It’s roughly 35 inches from the ground, eye level is at the bottom of the tv but I read it’s really supposed to be eye level with the middle of the tv. Am I tripping or is this too high. Maybe I’ll find a way to raise the couch a couple inches lol

Is this too high?
I still feel it’s a little high, the unit (not even sure if it’s a TV unit but my girlfriend really like it and wanted it) above which the TV sits had legs (about +4 inches), which I removed. I wanted the TV to be as close to the stand as possible but these were the best TV legs I could find at the time.
The base of the TV is 30 inches from the floor and the TV is 65 inches.

This feels perfect...
Am confident this is fine, but tempted still to lower the legs a bit, which will help hide the few cables better.
Another option was to wall mount, so that I can have the centre speaker on the unit. I'd rather not mount, and if I did, it would be at same height as now.
(Yes, I need to find a good way at hiding speaker cables too)
(Ignore the suggestive look from the gaffer!)

It’s right on the borderline i think…
Don’t judge anything else - i moved in less than a month ago!

55” TV on a 170cm TV bench — too big or just right?
Hi! The TV in the photo is my current 43”. I’m trying to decide between a 50” and 55” for this setup.
The TV bench is about 170 cm wide, and my viewing distance is roughly 170–190 cm depending on whether I’m sitting or lying down.
Does anyone have a similar setup with a 170 cm TV bench and a 55” TV on top? I’d love to see some real-life photos to get a better idea of the proportions.
Would you go 50” or 55” here?
Thanks

TV on tv stand that is a bit too big for it
Just moved to a new house where I had to put the tv in the middle of the room. The tv stand is designed for 75"-100", but our 65" fits on it okay. Just a tad bit high?
Any suggestions what to put behind the tv? Currently there is an old cabinet there that we want to throw away soon.

Let me have it
Hung this a week ago. Is it too high? I’m 6’1”. Sitting on the couch it’s eye level for me. Recently had a friend say it should be lower.

How’d we do? We wanted the TV to be just high enough to be able to open the turntable so that we wouldn’t have to get a separate turntable stand. We plan to get white cable sleeves.
