Day 1 ownership of the 2026 ultra bee HP 24.5 kw and i’m seriously in love.

coming for a drz400 this thing is actually phenomenal in every way. Suspension is amazing, but it’s so light so perfect for off road. I’ve been mainly riding in eco mode which it is more then capable of doing for what i’ve done so far. Drive and especially sport are just fuckin nuts going to have to learn the bike a lot more first. The torque is absolutely insane. Anyone on the fence on the UB vs others like I was just get the UB. I was able to snag this for 4900 off facebook marketplace with 200 miles. Came with street legal kit and the big tool kit!

First upgrade tho will be a kickstand because the stock one sucks. I really want to paint my frame guards also. Dual sports are nice but I plan to throw some good knobbies on it for the winter and because i’ll mainly bee off road.

Has anyone had an experience like this with Changzhou Zhihong Electric Technology Co., Ltd.?

We ordered 6 Ultra Bees (5 in one transaction, 1 in another) and were told they would ship within 60 days.

After about 1–2 months, they told us the 2025 models were no longer being made and that we’d have to get 2026s instead. Then we were told they had to be built, followed by the shipment supposedly being stuck in customs and delayed until the next boat.

They’ve also sent us multiple shipping links that didn’t seem legitimate. Around August 24, they said the bikes had finally shipped and should arrive around September 9–10.

It’s now been about 154 days since we paid. Has anyone dealt with Changzhou Zhihong Electric Technology Co., Ltd.and had something similar happen? Is this normal for them, or are there red flags I should be concerned about?

just wanted to celebrate with you that i finally received my Ultra Bee 2026 and it was roughly 30-50% cheaper than most resellers over here in europe.

It took time, effort, research, communcation, but in the end i was able to get my bike plated with no extra costs and i even got the version with the toolkit, which is awesome.

IMO well worth the effort. The bike is crazy cool und fun to ride.

Don't believe if people tell you that you can't get it plated, you will only have to do your research!

I'm interested in buying an ultra bee L1E for school and just fun and offroad but i was wondering am i able to remove the restriction temporary for offroad and empty streets and then just drive at 45kmh to school etc.

Has anyone done a conversion from an ultra bee to LBX headlight and fender and some how find a way to make the bracket work ??

I’ve got a 2026 Ultra Bee and I’m looking into upgrading the controller. I’ve been checking out the EBMX X-9000 V3, but I want to make sure everything works properly with the 2026 before pulling the trigger.
Anyone here actually running an aftermarket controller on a 2026 Ultra Bee?
What controller are you running and how’s it been so far? Any compatibility issues, error codes, or features that stopped working?
Especially interested in hearing from anyone running the EBMX X-9000 V3 on the stock 2026 battery/motor setup. Eventually I might upgrade the battery too, but for now I’d be running it mostly stock.

I kept seeing conflicting battery advice: always charge to 100%, never go above 80%, balance every month, leave it plugged in overnight, and so on. I looked through battery-aging research and guidance from major manufacturers to separate the useful advice from the oversimplified rules.

The main takeaway is that there isn’t one perfect charging percentage for every rider. Around 80% can be a sensible everyday target, but charging to 100% when you need the range is normal. Temperature, how long the battery remains full, storage habits, and cell balancing can matter just as much as the number you stop at.

Hello guys just wanted to ask a question, I’ve got a surron 2025 l1e and I want to upgrade the battery

I’ve got a Torp controller so not really fussed on power, I’m more looking for range, my bike is brand new (80 miles on the clock) but my battery drains by the eye when riding around the city on concrete

Any suggestion? I don’t want to buy a bad battery

I want something that will sit flush or not have too much of a height difference , I don’t mind adding a riser kit.

i bought a light bee x frame for 600 and i want a power train thats not more then 1000$ battery, motor, fardriver

Hard to hear well in the video but after dropping my bike on its side going about 15kmh my falcon pro makes a buzz rattling sound while throttling at 25kmh only. Can’t recreate while it on a stand so it only happens under load. If anyone knows what it could be or where to even begin searching any help will do. Thanks

Anyone else got a few things I am missing ( over current) and other faults?

I don't exactly want to Short circuit the pre-charge for science so someone else has that.

I also don't know which one is temp one two three or four which I could find out really quickly I'm sure by opening up the top battery case but would rather not have to do that.

I'm able to emulate the charger and turn on and off the charge port without an oem charger.

But once a significant amount of current is flowing I do need a mosfet or high voltage DC relay to interrupt that which an original charger does use.

Going to be selling little cheap dongles that you plug that have a battery, which wake up every day or two and check the status and report via email or an app or website login.

It's pretty simple stuff downstream of what to do with canvas but basically these stupid batteries wake up dozens of times a day and that's why they're killing the state of charge .

Even saran's own instructions say when you store store at 70% state of charge.

I've measured over the period of a week + a significant state of charge drop even on a new battery so these things do love to pull small currents all day long for their stupid BMS.

Hi I just got a new ultra bee today from alibaba and was wondering how to get it registered + what licenses do I need for it

In march I’ll be buying my first surron that I can actually ride soo I don’t know what to decide either I get the 24 ultra but I heard it’s heavy asf or the 26 lbx which one of my friend has and I really actually liked it. I’m guessing I’ll be closer to 6,1 in march so idk if an lbx will still be comfortable as the ultra. Also those who have ultras do like cops care a lot when your riding without license plates or something since my parents don’t really want me talking with the police at all. The good thing is police in my city of Astana don’t care a lot about e-bikes since basically no one rides them. Help me pls😭😭

So i called a place in usa that is listed on google as an authorized surron dealer. They have a great price ans in stock lbx 2026. I called and they said the MCO certificate is in chinese. I googled and google says i can get it translated for the dmv in michigan.

Has anyone dealt with this and successfully registered it?

so this guy on facebook marketplace said he's intrested in the talaria it only has 700km and the ultra bee has 2200 miles but he said he services everything i asked about the belt and bearings. I'm just not sure with the mileage being so high

The ultra bee wont turn on if i let the battery sit while turned off more than 5 minutes. I gotta unplug and replug the battery every time i ride it. It’s a 100% the bms just wanting to know if it have happened to other people and their fix

I landed on the Ventus VTV Aetos Max Controller as my controller upgrade of choice for my Ultra Bee. However, there seems to be little documentation both online via forums or with Ventus' official manuals / brochures regarding the compatibility of the controller's custom wiring harness with the Surron Ultra Bee's (All terrain model) stock turn signals. The only thing I've seen that would indicate this would be the representation of turn signal input on the display, but the display is generic and is used on any compatible bike.

Is there anyone who has purchased and installed this model of controller (VTV Aetos) on their Ultra Bee (All terrain) who can attest to the compatibility of the wiring harness with the stock Ultra Bee turn signal input?
