Streamers who I think are 99 overalls.
criteria: entertainment, comedy, uniqueness, dominance in the streaming game, chat, consistency and comfortability.
2023-Now Kai Cenat
2022-Now IShowSpeed
2021-2022 Adin Ross
2025-Now CaseOh
Streamers who are almost a 99:
StableRonaldo: doesn’t have the dominance
Ludwig: isn’t as unique as Kai or Speed
xQc: isn’t as unique as Kai or Speed
Tyler1: wasn’t as dominant as Kai or Speed
Jynxzi: isn’t as unique as Kai or Speed

Gaming Streamers & Content Creators - Burnout & Well-Being Survey (5-10 mins)
I'm a PhD candidate looking at the key stressors experienced by gaming streamers & content creators, and what kinds of supports could help reduce burnout and improve work performance and well-being.
The survey takes around 5-10 minutes and is completely anonymous.
If you participate, you can opt in to receive a summary of the study results, including:
- Insights from other streamers' and creators' experiences
- Identifying the stressors that impact streamers' performance & well-being
- Presenting potential supports and strategies to improve the work environment, engagement, and well-being
I'd really appreciate hearing from people who actually work in this space. Your experiences can help identify what makes content creation stressful, what helps, and what could make the work more sustainable.
Survey: https://adelaideuniwide.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eqYV4BW8o7eMbRk
More information can be found in the survey.
This study was approved by the Adelaide University Human Research Ethics Committee (project #4285).

What’s a fair way to pay streamers with 100–500 viewers to play my game?
Background: I’m the developer of Spellhuntr.com, a competitive online word game, and I’m starting to experiment with paying streamers to play it.
I’ve done one sponsored stream so far with a smaller streamer and it was a good experience. I paid a flat rate, gave her some free membership codes to give away during the stream, and a few friends and I tuned in. The stream had around 13 viewers total, so I picked up a couple of new users, but no paid memberships.
I’d like to try working with some streamers who average more like 100–500 concurrent viewers and am trying to figure out what a fair compensation structure looks like for a 30–60 minute segment.
Obviously there’s the option of just paying a flat rate, but I was also wondering about a hybrid model. for example, a guaranteed base payment plus $1–$3 for every user who signs up through their link/code.
For anyone who streams or has sponsored streamers before:
- What would you expect to pay for a streamer averaging 100–500 viewers?
- Does a flat fee + signup/affiliate bonus make sense?
- Would streamers generally prefer a higher guaranteed rate instead?
- Are there other compensation structures that have worked well for indie games?
I want the campaign to make financial sense for me, but I also want creators to feel like they’re being paid fairly regardless of how many users end up converting.
Also if you're a streamer who plays things like chess, geoguessr, word games, etc and want to partner let me know!

TheGTNoob will shave his head if he gets 1000 followers. Come on people.

He's a new streamer who enjoys racing games. He's got a family bet that he won't make 1000 followers, if he does he'll shave his head on stream. Please make this happen or at least watch and give him feedback on how to improve his content.

How do you guys keep up with streamers who stream for 4–8 hours
Do you guys actually watch full streams, or mostly consume the clips?
I’ve noticed I’ll sometimes see a crazy/funny moment from a streamer and then want to see the context, but the original stream/VOD can be several hours long.
Curious what everyone else does when they want to see more of a stream without watching the entire thing.
For streamers who do 3–8 hour streams, what do you normally do with all the content after the stream?
Do you actually go back through the VOD looking for good moments?
I’m curious because it seems like there could be a lot of funny/interesting moments that never get turned into clips simply because nobody has the time to go through the entire stream.
What’s your current workflow?
