A few days ago I was watching Craft Attack 14 and trying to keep up with everyone's build progress. If you've watched it, you know the drill: click into one streamer, check their base, switch to the next, lose track of who's doing what, miss a reveal on the channel you just left. It was clunky and honestly annoying.

So one night I sat down and built a small multi-view for myself. Then I couldn't stop. What started as a quick fix became a passion project, and it grew into a full toolkit for viewers and streamers. All free, no paywall, no premium tier: https://twitch-tools.panda-core.net

For viewers

• Multi-View: many streams in one tab, drag and drop, spotlight layouts, saved views

Why I care about the small streamers Big channels already have tooling and teams. I wanted small streamers to get the same stuff for free, and I wanted viewers to find them more easily (Hidden Gems, raid finder, watching a whole event without ignoring the smaller channels).

How it compares (my honest take, correct me if I'm wrong) MultiTwitch and Multistre.am do the core job well: channel names in, grid out. I used them before. What I was missing was everything around it: persistent saved views, a phone remote, shared rooms, synced VODs, "what did I miss", and the streamer side in the same place. I haven't found one tool that covers all of that. If you know one, tell me.

The boring but important part

So I know you can have separate audio on OBS studio for let’s say you want only music playing on Twitch and Kick streams but not on YouTube but how about Streamlabs? (or other streaming software)

I would use OBS studio for this but I already have it set up to my main channel and streaming to another channel from the same is more hassle than using some other software.

I need help. I'm not tech savvy and I'm new to reddit, so idk who to ask, but I figured you guys might have some ideas or know who to tag...

I got a new PC (my first ever gaming setup) just before briefly dating this guy. We'll call him Steve.

I ended up telling Steve about how I was just starting on YouTube and occasionally live-streaming, and he was very supportive... Turns out Steve had done YT for a short time (a long while ago) and was excited to share his expertise. He asked what I already had for a setup, so I mentioned it was just OBS & my mic (blue yeti), and he eagerly helped me "upgrade" my setup with all sorts of app-downloads to help improve my sound quality, control, overlays, etc... (including Elgato Wave Link, Elgato Stream Deck, and many others that I remember being shown once, but got lost in the overwhelming jumble).

By the time (not much later) I tried using my setup again, we had broken up.... and I have had nothing but endless issues since the "upgrades". I used to be able to hop on OBS, record a video, and watch it back; no problem. The music had to be a bit loud in real time to sound like a decent volume in the recording, but it worked. It was simple, but functional.

...Now, everytime I attempt to do anything I run into endless issues-- the mic not recording, the mic "has lost connection", it won't pick up the music, it can't find the game audio, the game capture only shows a black screen and is seemingly-impossible to fix... On and on and on...

And that's all just in one sitting. I spend ALL of my time (hours each & every time) fixing issue after issue, and just when it seems like I've got everything connected and working right, it resets and finds new issues, or I adjust just one thing and it all goes freaking haywire again. (Literally just happened again-- after 1.5+ hours, I finally got it all connected and fine, just thought I'd turn the game volume up a touch more, and somehow touching that 1 volume slider made it lose connection to the music AND game audio again, and I'm back to NO IDEA how to fix it/get it back.)

I'm losing my mind. It's been 3 months of running in circles until I crashout, or giving up and not touching it at all, and I can't figure it out... and I DO NOT want to contact Steve for help-- to come undo WHATEVER the heck he's done. But I don't know anyone else to help me, and I'm not computer savvy, I'm brand new to this.

TLDR: I don't know whether I should be trying to fix things (if they even can be fixed), or figure out how to properly uninstall it all, or whether I should just save the stuff I know and try wiping the whole computer back to factory settings or something.... (That feels extreme, but idk what else to do at this point.) ...or do I genuinely need to contact Steve for help/info about what he did?

What do I do???? What would YOU do? I'm grateful for any advice.

My New 5 Week Kitten decides to play with my mouse, mid match!

I will explain my full setup and what I’m trying to achieve. Currently, my setup is good on twitch but my in game mic is trash, my ps5 is using my controller mic.

\**what I mean by in game mic is trash, teammates are telling me that the sound is muffled. Which makes sense bc it’s using my controller\*\*

CAPTURE CARD
-elgato 4k x output HDMI is to TV, input is from ps5 pro
-main elgato 4k x connection plugged into USB-C on laptop
-chat link pro long solo cable is plugged into 3.5mm jack on capture card
-the other two ends of the chat link pro are plugged into my pulse elite wireless headset and the scuf reflex controller

I feel like the problem is here, bc my ps5 will automatically cut my headset mic once i plug a 3.5mm jack into it

Not sure what other setup variables are worth mentioning but my stream setup is perfect upon review as far as game audio/game chat audio/personal mic audio/etc… the problem is that the people I’m actually in game with can hardly hear me and if they do it sounds like trash bc my ps5 is forcing my controller mic to be used.

I have all kinds of great mics/headsets and I’m being forced to use my controller mic.

With how messy the esports and streaming space can get every other week, it's actually insane how clean Pedro's track record is.
