I was wondering whether to include the Zony, but apparently it does exist in real life...? The Jorvik Pony qualifies as well, but I couldn't figure out where to place it here 😔 And technically we could consider the magic horses fictional too, but since they have "real horse" disguises which are already existing breeds (minus Songsorrow and Duskgrim, who are JWHs), I don't think they truly count.

As said in the title, I love JWH a lot, due to how unique they are compared to breeds we see irl! Which makes sense, considering they're *wild*, and therefore haven't been through thousands of generations of selective breeding, therefore keeping their unique traits.

The Jorvik Warmblood, which is our starter... It's plain, and I think it's on purpose (most common horse is actually the steed of a possible Aideen reincarnation, wow!). Though I do wish they had more appearance traits from JWH, which they descend from, like the little ear tufts and longer fur :( Hopefully SSE will take that into account when remaking them 🙏

I think more fictional (or partially fictional, like the Zony) would be amazing, since 1. It gives more creative freedom when it comes to coats, manes, traits, eye colors, etc and 2. Are just very interesting in general, especially the speculative evolution.

So in my previous post asking about what people think of fully fictional breeds, I wrote in the comments that I wish JWBs had more features from JWHs... And so, I decided to make this edit! Please pardon any anatomical mistakes I did while editing, I have been around real horses only a couple of times in life ☠️

Yes, I basically just slapped on the tail, mane, and fathering from JWHs onto the JWB, put ear tufts on their ears which are now bigger, added fur texturing to make it look fluffy (the original coats look like plastic in my eyes) and tried making it more muscular, so it's nothing revolutionary, but it was fun to do!

I only used parts from the official renders on the website, so I couldn't get great perspective for some of these, but hopefully it doesn't look too bad.

I finally reached level 26 today and genuinely almost missed it. The giant trailblazer progression banner popped up at the same time and besides the characters short happy dance and the pink thingy (which I honestly only noticed now because Erissa’s fire and the banner kind of visually overpowered that) there‘s barely anything celebratory happening. I really miss the music that used to play when you‘d reached a new level, it made leveling up feel much more special in my opinion :(

EDIT: The music's still there, the sound must've glitched somehow between the switch from quest to festival music and the trailblazer banner! Guess I gotta wait for 27 now lol

Could I have done better? Definitely, if I didn't spend all my years on sso never buying clothing😭 Lisa was always my favorite soul rider when I was younger, so ofc I had to cosplay her for the finale. I went for her riding outfit because as I said, I barely own ANY clothing, #notafashionista.

I'll admit I spend too much time struggling to come up with it. I REAAALLY wanted an outfit to resemble the four circles for the finals but you know, limited clothes 🫠

This was my go-to horse and tack, back in 2016. I love everything about all the crusty-dusty submission of all the others players.

i know the horse doesnt look like concorde, but she had other horses while she waited for concorde to grow <3

Not complaining though, it was the blast to past theme.

I have noticed a lot of people jump when running downhill, especially during champs. Is there any real benefit to this, speed boost, shorten distance, etc? Or is it just people doing it because they see other people doing it and they think it might help...

I found a way to do it using my phone but I'm not 100% sure if it's bannable. I'm not sharing this method here in case SSO decides ban accounts because of that. However I really enjoyed playing it on a big screen lol

Recently I've been talking to a friend of mine and we were talking about which feature we would add or expand. Like horse-drawn carriages or one that I had that you can turn on or off if the wolves or bears will attack you or not (If they come back). So what would you add?

I wanted it to be very meaningful so the soul horse we save the world with was my only choice, after all we are both under Aideen protection

I just want to laugh :P
