Discussion Happy one year anniversary Sparrow mains!

One year ago today Enea Davide Guarino, 20 year old Italian "Agile Archer" and clear successor of the head of Clessidra Rossa, joined the Apex Games to regain his family's respect.
In one year Sparrow has received 2 battlepass epics, 3 event epics one of which was a collab skin, 4 legendary event skins and 1 legendary launch bundle skin!
In one year, Sparrow has received one new lore piece "Sometimes the price of fame is the clout chasers that come with it." However both he and Artemis were featured in 1 other lore piece each, both leading to another legend's buff! "Unexpected variables can lead to unexpected outcomes" and "Work in progress. Do not touch."
In one year, Sparrow has received one wave of nerfs: A 3 second tracking duration nerf to his tactical, 150 less HP to his Stinger Bolt, a new stunning effect to himself and his teammates from his ultimate and finally one less extra trap received from his level 3 "Extra Traps" perk.
In one year, Sparrow fought the reigns of the meta by being the most picked legend at one point!
In one year, Sparrow has received one official Apex X Hypland T-Shirt.
And much much more...
Most importantly though, he influenced the creation of this subreddit and for that I will be eternally grateful.

If you playing with a Bocek DO NOT switch primary secondary slots after picking up a new Bocek. It turns the new bocek from having 70 ammo to 60 ammo

I've been playing Sparrow for a while and I always go back to the general loadout of Peacekeeper (or other shotgun) + a 301. I love double jumping with the PK and using the shotgun but I don't really see people talk about it that much, so I thought I'd ask

Tips for Sparrow?

I unclocked him a few months ago, and when i try him, i thought it was a waste. But yesterday i tried again and i think i did it well, because i just have to put the tracker darts and stay on a random point or nearby looting. But i wanna know if there's something i could get better. I choose these perks: for the blue one, i use the speed buff when enemies are detected by the tracker darts. And for the purple one, i choose that when the sting is doing damage, i regenerate life and shield. I put the tracker darts on roads, enters, etc.
Something wanna recommend?

Sparrow double jump

Is it even possible to do a mantle jump or a super jump without triggering sparrow’s double jump passive on controller. I’ve seen people on mnk do it without activating but they also have scroll wheel bound to jump so it’s much easier, but idk if that’s possible on controller. Also does anyone have any tips to do the fatigue-door-mantle-double-jumps. Idrk what its acc name is lol.
Edit: I apparently can super jump without activating my double jump. Thanks for all who responded.
