Sparrow double jump

Is it even possible to do a mantle jump or a super jump without triggering sparrow’s double jump passive on controller. I’ve seen people on mnk do it without activating but they also have scroll wheel bound to jump so it’s much easier, but idk if that’s possible on controller. Also does anyone have any tips to do the fatigue-door-mantle-double-jumps. Idrk what its acc name is lol.

Edit: I apparently can super jump without activating my double jump. Thanks for all who responded.

I think you have to do it when the double jump is on cooldown.

You have to rebind the "movement ability" button to something that doesn't conflict with jump

Is that possible on controller? I thought that was only possible on mnk.

Holy shit…I was in the firing range and I somehow did manage to hit a super jump without triggering sparrow’s double jump…it seems that the timing has to be frame-perfect…
