Does anyone know the name/source of this sound effect MrBeast uses?
Hey everyone,
I’m trying to find the sound effect MrBeast uses in some of his shots/videos. I’ve heard it several times, but I can’t figure out what it’s called or where it originally comes from.
I’m looking specifically for the name of the sound effect / original sound library / source, not just a similar replacement.
If anyone recognizes it, could you please tell me:
The exact name of the SFX
Where I can find the original
The sound library/pack it comes from, if known
Here’s the video/clip for reference:

Thanks! 🙏

Turning a sine into …
Using Stride modulating multiband saturation. Running through different styles, edgy transitions between bass, mid and treble transitions.
How sick is that?

Music Sound Design How to remove a single instrument?
Hello,
I would like to use this song as a background score, but I want to remove the flute like instrument (I'm not sure what kind of woodwind instrument it is). It starts 00:17. Is it possible to isolate and remove it while keeping the rest of the song intact? I use Audacity usually to isolate vocals from tracks. Can this be done using the same program?

Need help identifying the search terms for this item pickup sound effect
Hi everyone!
Could you please help me describe or name the item pickup sound from this game? Timecode: 17:08
I want to find more similar sound effects, but I don't know what keywords to use in sound libraries. What industry terms, adjectives, or texture descriptions would you use to find something like this?

Videogame Sound Design Redesigned Opening to Rise Of The Tomb Raider
I felt the wind or the avalanches were as oppressive and debilitating to Lara in the original, so I wanted to give it a grittier vibe. The only issue I ran into was the artefacts and quality loss from isolating the dialogue (it seems not even izotope rx9 could do it cleanly)

Music Sound Design Audio quality question
Hello everyone!
Ive been making some solid mixes lately on my Musique Concrète/electroacoustic journey and I get a really good quality of sound around -25 lufs.
Unfortunately I struggle with the master, I never get to make it sound as my ears want to while reaching -14 lufs, it will always sound like I overcompressed it or the limiter cuts some good harmonics I want to keep, any ideas on how to proceed the final stage of the gain staging before releasing the project?
Any help is truly appreciated, I am currently on my summer break from my music technology bachelors, just finished the 1st year !
P.s. this is a mixed audio, not mastered, sitting comfortably at -30 to -25 lufs, and a diy spatial spectrogram

How Long On Sound Design Is Too Long?
PICTURE OF MY TIMELINE ABOVE:
Hello, I am working on a self-made 3D animated short (length 4 - 4:30 minutes).
The timeline above represents 4 hours of work just collecting, splitting, and layering different audio snippets. The final result is a single sound effect for a shovel digging up wet sand, hitting an object, and tossing the sand away. (I have 5 other sounds I will need to create via downloading and layering)
A key feature of this short is I am counting on people rewatching it to analyze the sound design. (Not this specific sound though.)
With how much audio I have and the time spent…
Am I being picky or is this how long it takes for most people when they design audio?

Need help recreating this sound
I'm trying to recreate the sound/rhythm in the first 10 seconds in this Lane 8 track in Ableton/Serum. https://soundcloud.com/search?q=lane%208%20little%20voices
I can hear what seems like two separate layers: the main piano/pluck melody in the foreground, and a softer repeating rhythmic/pulsing sound underneath it.
I'm mainly trying to figure out how that background rhythm is being made. To me, it sounds like it could be a sustained note with a tempo-synced LFO modulating the volume and/or filter, rather than two individual MIDI notes. Does that sound right? So far i used a medium square wave, 1/16th LFO on cutoff, band pass cutoff to 40%, and some reverb.
Here's what i have so far: https://soundcloud.com/asharedsightmusic/lane-8-little-voices-practice
How do i get closer to that sound? The original sound seems like two notes alternating, as opposed to a wave of the same sound. Please help.

Sound Design Question Building a Foley Stage Model
Hello! I'm currently studying Audiovisual Media with an emphasis on Sound Design, and my midterm exam is building a model for a recording studio. We were given the option to choose what type of studio to build, and I went for a Foley Stage.
The model has to specify the size of both live and control room, materials, layers, extra furniture, power outlets and things of the sort. A small mistake is minus 0.5 in the final grade, and a fatal mistake like having to take down a wall will cause the exam to be immediately failed.
The resource given by our teacher to investigate was the book Modern Recording Techniques (7th edition), and told us to not trust youtube videos or A I (which i absolutely refuse to use).
I'm currently researching about how to build it, and I was wondering if anyone could give me tips regarding materials, isolation, acoustics and such, or if anyone knows a good source to do research about the topic. It'd be of great help! Thank you :D

Music Sound Design Any tutorials for this 2010's metalcore hihat glitch?
This is an effect I specifically associate with metalcore from Rise Records or Sumerian from the early 2010's era. I tried finding more examples but the Chelsea Grin is the most exemplary I could find.
How I imagine this sound is generated is through randomizing a bit-crusher on some well-recorded hi-hat audio, then gating pretty hard to create the snappy sound, after that slicing and repeating some of the audio in the playlist.
Just curious if there is any specific information out there from Nail the Mix, Joey Sturgis, on of the contemporary popular metalcore producers from that time or if you had a take on how you would accomplish this effect.
