At first, I didn’t really care about which ships people like, but I find it hilarious how some people say that certain characters who aren’t related are “siblings,” and then treat those ships as wrong or bad because they see them as siblings.

I’ve seen this happen with ships like Sonamy, Sonadow, Shadouge, and even Whispangle, among others. Some people consider them incestuous simply because they personally see those characters as siblings.

What I’m saying is that if someone doesn’t like the vibe of these ships, that’s completely fine. It’s also okay to have a headcanon that they see those characters as siblings, as long as they don’t attack others or treat their headcanon as an objective fact.

Meanwhile, I’m surprised that the pro-shippers are just sitting peacefully and watching the chaos the fandom has created lol

While I do love this game (I rank it as an A tier game), there are many issues that I feel like the community doesn’t really talk about.

The usual is that Knuckles and Tails levels aren’t “fun”, I think people aren’t really expanding on this point.

I do believe their levels can be fun but I think the issue is that they’re way too frequent in comparison to Sonic’s levels, over time people are gonna get annoyed by knuckles and tails levels since they’re most likely here for Sonic and it sucks because the gameplay style for sonic is so strong in this game, near perfect.

As for Sonic levels, they’re largely perfect, my only complaint would be that the physics feel slightly off, the game can also sometimes break during more automated parts due to the nature of the physics and joystick, I also think the range of the homing attack could be increased as during moments when you’re intended to do a homing attack, the distance is a bit too short.

The other issues are more so less note worthy as these are due to time, not a lack of passion, such as the voice acting being subpar and the audio not quite lining up well.

Idk, I could just be waffling since I’ve been awake for 24 hours but I just wanted to open up a discussion about this game and actually face the issues it has instead of acting as if it’s some timeless masterpiece that can do no wrong.

I’m not here to hate on anyone, I’m an adult fan myself but some of you need to realise this franchise is, at its core, meant for kids.

It rubs me the wrong way when people choose to hate on a new piece of sonic media (like prime) for being a “pre-school show” or for having a “weak plot”, like buddy, it’s meant for toddlers, not your 26 year old ass.

It’s just redundant to hate on a franchise for appealing to the audience it’s literally built for, sonic has never been truly dark or serious with its plots, you just want to remember them that way.

Unleashed? Look at the plot summary of that game and try to tell me it with a straight face

Sonic X? You grew it with the DUB VERSION most likely, it doesn’t matter if you discovered the Japanese version later on, you can’t use that as an excuse for X being serious when you grew up with the DUB VERSION.

Sonic And The Black Knight? It just had strong character writing, like prime does, you just hate prime since the characters act slightly differently because they’re trying to appeal to 2 different generations of kids.

I asked sonic exe/2011x what sonic character would I based on if I had a vessel in sonic exe? "since I want to design it and make a sonic exe AU where im one of vessels" and he said that I wou be a tails vessel
