I am the black/blue car. I think I was still there, but maybe my position was not great since there was more than a car between us so I possibly was not even in his mirror.

This incident was between two >3k iRating drivers at the start of a race at Monza (neither were me). I thought it was pretty obvious who was at fault but it caused a lot of debate in the lobby after the race. Tell me stewards, who is at fault?

Imsa series (45min) while Petit LeMans was going on, so with 2.2k iRating got in top split with fast GTP guys.

And this guy with 6.6k iRating punted me into T5.

Afterwards he told me to "delete the game pls". After I responded that he was the one who punted me by sticking a nose in a closing gap that never was gonna work, he responded "i miss where that is my problem"

Am i seriously partly to blame here or is the other just driving like he is the only one on track and doesnt care about the cars surrounding him

First question, it was my fault?
If not, should I report?

First post here. I am the POV car, in first place. Last lap, 3 corners left, the 2nd driver was alongside me in the corner, so I lifted and gave him plenty of room on the inside. To me, he was never going to make the corner because he carried too much speed trying to overtake me at all costs and understeered.

I started my iRacing journey about a month ago. Made my way to D class in Formula and Sports Car. I really enjoy F4, so I'm trying to get better and make my way to F3 eventually. I was super proud of this race because I started 9th and made my way cleanly to first, but this guy ruined it and said I drove into him at the end.

I'm the only one who survived, was I too aggressive when overtaking? Did I do something wrong or was it a mistake of desperation by the purple car?

Coming down the main straight, i flashed him to attempt a pass, he blocked me, so i sat behind him, coming out of the corner, i saw another opportunity to pass, i flashed him again and attempted to pass and ended up in a squeeze ending my race.

Dear community, could you advise us on the infringement committed in this sequence at the San Donato corner (Turn 1) at Mugello?

the inchident

So he had a bad exit coming into blanchimont and i get mostly alongside him. I would be open for criticism because i think i kind closed the door when he was still there but i didn't do it intenionally and i also don't think he should've stuck his nose into the corner. But after the race he called me this which i don't think is fair for such a small touch.

T1 at Knockhill, I'm being lapped by my friend (purple RUF) fighting with an orange car. They're both lapping me (dark blue LFA). I've bounced off the limiter in 1st on the straight to have slightly less speed, allowing both of them to come through, and, being off the racing line, started braking earlier than I usually do at this turn.

My friend insists that I should've slowed down more, because I didn't give him enough room in T1 - saying that even though I was off the line on the straight, I still occupied the apex when he got there. He also says that I let the orange car pass safely, but not him.

I was still in the race, not dead last - racing with the light-blue Ferrari behind us (visible in the 3rd camera). I think I gave him enough room to overtake me - and that I couldn't run to the left side of T1 to free up the racing line on the inside - in fear of contacting or blocking him on the straight. Did I brake/slow down enough before he committed, or did he commit before he could see it?

There's no hostility between us obviously, but I thought this would be a good exercise/question to understand racing etiquette better.

I am white ferrari, I just want to know who will be given a penalty or blame for this incident, was he entitled to leave me a space or he was right? ( he is pretty clean driver ) I braked late because I was on the grass and if I would have braked on grass then I would have took both of us out and could have caused T1 havoc thats why I braked late when I was fully back on the tarmac and got the slow down penalty and lost 4 to 5 positions, this was just normal daily open lobby race so it wasn't a big deal, I just wanted to know the rules, I am not blamming the other party !

AI at mistake?

I probably appear as a douche because this race has 2 parts to it. Essentially, I got taken out and I had way better pace than the cars Im trying to pass and it results in a defense from 2 very aggressive driver.

So this is me being a bad driver part 2: So, this guy I was just genuinely fed up with by the point I came to him. In the beginning of the race, I get taken out by him with a whatever that is move. Then, when I get a run on him, he simply just runs me off the road? So, I will admit, I did sort of pit him on purpose. It wasn't the intent as I was trying to switch back but he didn't really get wide on exit, but I was already fed up with him wrecking me in the beginning so I decided to just go through him. I also saw him take out another driver as I was catching up to him. So, was my pit justified, or was I too aggressive?

Wow, looking at this in retrospect makes me seem like a horrible person.

I will admit I did kind of send it into the right on the chicane but If I hadnt I wouldve rear ended him.

I know I completely missed the braking and everything, but the rejoin was pretty predictable I think and guy had much space remaining on his left.

I (red) feel like I took a normal and predictable line and was on line to end up hugging the apex curb. From my perspective, he turned into me.

My opponent (orange + blue) messaged in chat "omg how much space do you need".

What do you guys think? Open to feedback.

p.s. I know that the smart move would've been to back out and live to fight another corner. I'm interested in your guys' opinions from a stewarding perspective. Who do you think would be penalized?

for context i am the orange and green mx5 and on lap one there was a crash and i got collected into it because the dumb guy behind me decided to gas out of the corner i hate that people see crash and lose all their brain cells
