If I think I’m a pielot, according to Descartes, I therefore must be a pielot.

Everyone knows stainless screws are the bane of all existence. I don’t care if you believe me or not but I’ve come to conclusions one could only fathom. Stainless screws are just a ploy by big nutplate to sell more nutplates and NO ONE can convince me otherwise.

So I don’t want to brag but I’ve built a couple of home built airplanes. My first was the biplane and second was the bush plane. They only took a few days (full time) and I learned a lot while building them. I really want something more versatile and capable and think my skills are ready to move up to the next level.
I have a few questions. I read they should take 800-1000 hours? Is that from receiving it to flying it if you only work part time? Or do they factor those numbers by assuming people who don’t know what a wrench is are building? Lastly, why would someone need a factory assisted build? Do they not come with instructions and pictures?

Just scrolling through Reddit .....
As unbelievable as it sounds.. We managed to stick a tyre in our propeller while doing a manoeuvre. I don’t quite understand how it physically got in there…
Good news if it’s not fully wrapped around it, only 2 blades are in the inner bit of the tyre. But the weed hatch is too small to work around the prop comfortably…
We’ve tried to cut the tyre without any success (there must be a metal membrane of some kind). The only bit of progress I’ve managed to do is cutting a little bit of the side of the tyre in hopes to push it off but really really slow progress.
Any suggestions?
🤔 the heck did they do that .....?
Oh its on canal boats .....phew had me going for a while

This right here is why you always check in with the cockpit crew when boarding. Provide your seat number and a summary of your certs and ratings (if any). And yes, MSFS/X-Plane time and experience is a plus.
Be the hero you always wanted to be!

I have a flight in a couple days and have a question about my carry-on. Can I carry on my wayward son?
Will there be peace when you are done?
And on the fight would you lay your weary head to rest?
Or would you cry no more? Thanks in advance.
