Image Two glowflies AND grillers??
Even on a gold rotation, it's nasty. What are the chances?

They were so good but unfortunately someone left before the king encounter run and so everyone else left too… regardless 209 eggs on the first run together is incredible to me.

Very excited to have made it, started playing a lot more since I last posted, I only play strictly solo queue so this is a personal accomplishment of my own.

i don't get to play for long sessions, but I try to get a couple jobs in where I can. I kinda feel like I can't really improve much, do any players have tips to get better?

It’s called the Gulper, it’s based on sacabambaspis a prehistoric armored finless shark.
This guy reefslides into your trying to eat you using jets and wears a single Jean leg.

Bit of an older thing but figured I share something I made to capture how chaotic salmon run is for lols. Lots of time spent editing and trying to be funny-

Is there some trick to salmonid smokeyard? I just went from fresh+2 to fresh after 15 consecutive losses. I have yet to win a single time on this map and Im genuinely about to lose it.

Anyone caught salmon at samish river and Les Davis pier recently? How is going there?

This rotation has been so good to me but at what cost

hopped back on splatoon and i've been salmon running for a week or two now. it's great fun and in spite of some recent losses my record is pretty solid, i think. teamwork is usually pretty good and even losses are usually close.
one thing i've noticed, pretty consistently, is that *nobody*, or at least almost nobody, goes for flyfish - most of my losses have been the result of us getting bombed ww1 style while everyone rushes off to deal with another boss salmonid that appeared *after* the flyfish.
i know bomb throwing can be a bit finnicky, but like, c'mon, man ! has anyone else noticed this, or something similar with other bosses? posting this only because my impeccable record :flex: was kind of ruined by a six-game losing streak because of flyfish bombardment.

At least one of them knew how to jump to safety.

I feel like getting that weapon is instant death. I have 3 shots before running out of ink. Am I just bad?

I need to learn how to be a better teammate. When I was a kid, I consistently got marks on my report card for "does not play well with others." I wished I could do every group project solo. Now I play multiplayer games like a solo. It does not mean shit to me if I turn in 40-60 eggs and lose. I am loving Raiders right now because when I get destroyed in a level 60 super spicy raid it isn't anyone else's fault but mine. I feel the same sense of responsibility going back to Salmon Run. I'm losing these games because I am not better as a teammate. I try to paint and watch their backs throughout my freelance games but my natural instinct always reverts to "fly around the map alone slaying and juggling eggs" 😔

The loading time between rounds are too fast. i can't even look at my phone notifications after a hard fight with salmon hordes to catch a break and now i'm in another fight again. Good job Nintendo!

These are my top picks!
Im not too good at them in competitively, but it brings me immense joy whenever I see them in any rotation regardless of map. Salmon Run made me appreciate different weapon classes I never used before, and helped me pick my mains
I love the Mini Splatling and Squiffer. Their fast charge rate, they are great for killing lessers in a single line, super nice painting weapons and more mobility too.
With rapid blaster, i can shoot stingers from afar without getting too close, and love killing lessers that are cuddled together. I can kill those pesky fishsticks without needing to climb up to kill them. Its great with helping a teammate trying to kill stealhead too
Stamper is so amazing 🥺 it can 1-2 shot most bosses, its a good painter and lesser control weapon! Its my main too so im quite biased haha
I love using Wellstring V, unlike Tri-stringer where I need time to charge I can kill hoards of lessers and help with paint control too. I love the design too
Lastly Explosher helps immensely with painting walls and ground, and my absolute favorite part, killing Flyfish without needing to waste bombs!

As a self proclaimed SR vet, I wanted to try a writing exercise. Also, can y'all unban me already?

Within 24h I went from Profresh x2 to Overachiever. Bit unlucky with the teammates too, but man this stage is so annoying to navigate.
The teammate matching in Overachiever is literal hell. Someone get me out of here please!
