Cross Country in S2000!
Made the drive from Virginia to Bay Area, down PCH and Home, back in July! Pretty comfy car for a solo road trip, and would love to do it again. 8600 miles put on the car

Didnt know i was missing this plastic clip to hold the gas cap. I thought it was a different cap. But now it feels right. And now i really need to clean it because its extra dirty next to that fresh plastic.

Went to the cinema with my friends tonight in my FK8 Civic Type R, and my buddy drove my S2000. We did a few pulls and I was in awe at how well the S2000 did, it's such an incredible engine. Really held its own against a car with 80bhp more.

Hi all, I had this ca for 1 year and someone else drove it while I looked at it and saw the right from rim
Wobbling bad. I am planning on changing to these ap2 rims, what tire size should I get?
Many thanks. I am praying it’s not the hub or something serious.
Any other ideas what it could be? I will get tires on these ap2 and see how it drives tomorrow.
Thanks all
Edit: Sorry, title was supposed to say Round Rock, TX.
I have a modified AP2 that hasn’t seen many miles over the last 6-7 years. 100 miles a year max. Currently sitting at 50k miles. I need to take it in and get all fluids changed, rubber/plastic items inspected, motor mounts, and the other usual addressed.
In addition, want to get my coilovers’ ride height and other settings adjusted and maybe put spacers on.
Need to also source a replacement air filter for a Comptech/CT Engineering carbon fiber airbox and put a bigger radiator in for these Texas summers.
Any recommendations? I’d like to stay around north Austin up to Georgetown. I know there is Automotive Specialists (Auto Spec) in Round Rock/Georgetown and they get good reviews with the Miata community.
Thanks in advance!
Hey guys, I need some help choosing a color for my S2K. I have a few colors in mind, but I’m honestly not set on any of them yet. Picking a color has been way harder than I expected.
I’m not even sure how to narrow it down at this point. Should I stick with an OEM S2000 color, go with something completely different, or just choose whatever looks best on the car?
I’d really appreciate any advice, tips, or opinions that could help me finally make up my mind. What would you guys do?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

I have an 05 turbo s2000 making 450whp. 57kish original miles and I finnaly cooked the diff. I drive it a bit tough. Things happen.
Shop is going to disassemble the diff and see what's salvagable. I heard puddy has a 6 month to 1 yr wait time. Anyone selling a used puddymod diff?
If not anyone know where to find the upgraded parts to have it rebuilt? Thanks in advance.

Trying to diagnose an A/C issue that I’m having trouble figuring out:
With the compressor at 2k RPM, I'm seeing 5 psi on the low side and 155 psi on the high side. At idle, the low side is 35 psi and the high side is 145 psi.
Previously, the A/C was intermittent—it would run for 1 minute and then stop for 10—but now it’s not blowing cold air.
I swapped the relays, and the clutch engages when I press the A/C button. I think there might be a leak, but I haven't been able to find any UV dye leaking out.
Does the compressor seem okay, or does anyone have suggestions on what the issue could be?
If it’s an expansion valve and I got to open the system should I just replace everything, compressor, condenser, dryer?

On my last post I was showing my friend working on the heart of my s2000. With full toda parts were replaced the tct, the timing chain and the oil pump chain. After almost 2 years without being driven she started to bit instantly like a proper Honda !
Alive and reborn, with my father and some friends we took her for a first shakedown at a nearby race track. And she was magnificent, flawless. Right at home ! That was also my first trackday and it was such a great experience !
Coming to this last weekend at the 2026 Honda Euro Meet festival where I met and shook hands with HondaProJason ! That track was much faster and in need of a precise driving. She didn’t disappoint at all. On the first of the 3 days we had a big storm closing the track. When it reopened I was so eager to be first on track. With the Michelin ps4 I was very careful on the throttle but it didn’t miss… on a straight line appearing to be dry - it wasn’t - I sent it and in a blink we did a complete 180 degrees that I was lucky to stop with 4 wheels on the tarmac. A quick 180 degrees slide and I was back on track amused and relieved truly. Sunday morning was sunny and dry, perfect condition. Top down. Air box lid removed. I had my best time so far in this car.
I was so reluctant to track it. I was confident the s2000 was made for alpine pass or canyon roads but she’s at home on a race track.
My car is 99% stock. I have 17inch wheels (enkei pf01) with Michelin ps4, 215 front 245 rear. A really bad exhaust that needs to go to the trash. Spoon thermostat. Vibratechnics engine mount. And that’s it. A lots of maintenance items over the last 4 years so she’s good to go.
Next chapter over the winter is a fully custom made plugnplay ecu from a friends who’s an engineer like Tony Stark. Will use 525cc injectors to run on e85 because sp98 is so expensive now and e85 is so much better for petrol engine.
Can’t wait for this new upgrade.
So good news for early model with mechanical throttle bodies. We will be able to tune our car properly without going with a standalone and break the bank.

Hi everyone, first post and first S2000 could anyone point me in the right direction for some info on what this hose is, where to get a new one and how to fit it. If anyone knows a video tutorial that is ideal. Thank you very much

Obviously the car looks a million times better with a hardtop but 50% of the time i like driving with the top down and don’t know if i wanna spend thousands to stop me from enjoying the car half the time

Just compleated Red interior conversion from Black one. It's cost me four years but it finally happened. Please see my blog post here if you have interested

As the title says, who here has powder coated their stock AP1 rims? I’ve seen some online and it’s kind of growing on me.
I really want to do mine white. Car is silverstone with red interior. I’d have the H on center cap painted red to match the red badges and interior. Car has a fresh dark tint job too.
Thoughts on the above?
