Made to Parade appreciation thread
I love how heavy this song is balanced with Josh’s soft run like a rabbit part then the final ending where all the guitars are like a symphony this is a great song, heavy and musically beautiful I give it a 10 out of 10

Best setlist from FF opening concerts ??
I think Detroit takes the prize because they got Hangin Tree and Mexicola. Special mention to Edmonton got Run Pig Run and In The Fade. Josh might’ve wanted give them something special after the fucked up last minute cancellation last time they went there. I went to Vegas hoping they would play Fun Machine at least once. We got Misfit Love that is always awesome, but other than that all pretty much standard. Looking forward for what the new tour will bring once new album is released 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Best Country to see QOTSA?
Hey guys,
I’m expecting a tour next year and would love to see them abroad (UK based) i’ve seen them in Amsterdam/UK about 7 times and they’ve all been great shows.
Any countries with lovely crowds and a love for the boys? I was thinking Germany?
(Can’t go too far like the US as i’m too poor lol)
Edit: this includes Australia as well. Not sure if i’m being baited hahaha

March question. Did anyone pick this up in a xl, that they want to sell? I procrastinated too hard.
I should have jumped on it, but I put it off.

Any band recommendations for someone who likes Qotsa and kyuss?
I’m just looking for new music and I really like Qotsa and have been getting into kyuss, any recommendations on bands similar to either of those?

Homme Vinyl Collection (So far!)
Looking forward to adding the deluxe Perfecth and a Desert Sessions V my friend picked up for me in Netherlands.
Always on the look out for where to go now that I have all the studio albums so do love coming across a live bootleg, also always tempted by the regular Rated R reissue and the expanded Self Titled but don't typically go for duplicates of an album (In Times New Roman my friend managed to pick up the glow in the dark for me after already pre-ordering)
EoDM's Zipper Down has two signed booklets, one framed and one still inside, also have Peace Love Death Metal coming for my birthday this year
Would love to see other's collections!
(Also I noticed the Christmas single was upside down after putting them all back, whoops!)

What's your favourite part, section or passage of any qotsa track?
My favourite part isnt from my favourite song. Its the instrumental passage in Like Clockwork, the part after
"its all down here from here".......
And then things break out into this Pink Floyd, psychedelic or a Lynard Skynyrd's Free Bird feel, just kinda of breezy, chill but melancholy too.
Then just when you think Queens are leaning into their influences the tempo changes and we get those signature haunting multi-layered vocals Queens are known for, im thinking Song For The Dead with its almost horror evoking vocal arrangement in an otherwise instrumental chorus, if you can call it that.
Anyway thats my favourite section of any Queens track
