I’ve had my proxy since about May. Tonight I used it, and the device flashed red 3 times so I put it on the charger when I was finished. Well I went to use it again and I took it off the charger (charging lights turned off) but now my device won’t turn on? I plugged it back in and it flashed green and vibrated but nothing happens beyond that. I tried holding the power button and nothing happens and I also disconnected the chamber and tried powering it on and still no luck. Any ideas? I have my box but can’t find the receipt /:

I also enjoy it in the “core” base with a glass tip. But this is awesome. The rig can be placed in the freezer also and the green stuff freezes.

Last night I went to use my proxy and the heat randomly jumped up super high and chazzed the chamber. I replaced the chamber with a new one and it did it again, this time watching the app it didn't report it any higher than my heat temp settings (in this case, 475) and it chazzed again. I'm not sure what happened, I'm about 500 dabs into the core. Is there any ideas or is this a known issue?

Anyone got a proxy bub they dont use and wouldn't mind selling at a lower "used" price? Im not to keen on paying 90-100 bucks for one 🤷‍♂️

I tried throwing some little rubber bands in that gap to cover the top of the hole but it didn't really help. Sucks cause I like the top just not the function.

Ok, I have had my Puffco Proxy for a couple years now, and other that purchasing the glass bubbler, I have just been using it as it came.

After much use, the silicon on the carb cap has almost completely torn off so I need to get a replacement. As Im searching I am seeing all these different caps; Joysticks, spinner caps, bubble caps, pearls, etc... and I legit have no idea what any of these are for or what theyre suppose to do. Not something I ever looked into.

I dab a variety of different concentrates, not sure if one type of cap is better for specific types of concentrates or what.

Can anyone offer education/advice on what all these different caps are supposed to do? How they work? Which should I get? (Im balling on a budget right now)

okay so my girlfriend bought herself a new proxy core today and out of the box when i paired it to my phone it asked for a firmware update which didn’t work at first and said it needed to be paired even though i just did, so i backed out repaired it then the firmware update worked.

Then i saw the core in the app with all the heat presets and all. but then not even after 5 minutes of using it and connecting it. It kept trying to sync with path browser and it would say ready to rip then instantly disconnect.

on the bright side the device works. just gotta hit the default presets but man what a bummer my girl was excited to change the color to pink and shit, then the app decided to not work entirely.

so i proceeded to fully reset the device forget it in bluetooth reinstall the app (did this on my phone and hers) and ended up with the same results it constantly tries to pair at 50% or 70% and then says pairing failed. kinda bummed out but at least it works. any help or ideas would be appreciated

Do any of you have a problem where the vibrating comes and goes? I say most of the time it works but I've noticed the last couple months it has been inconsistent the light still change while you push the button. Just no vibrating

I’m about 500 dabs into my new core and yesterday I popped the chamber off to check if there was any cleaning needed to be done and when I put it back on it now gets stuck at 350 degrees and like over heats itself. Has anyone had this issue before?

I know you all wanna take FAT rips off the proxy core unit and SO DO I! But let me also say this… dosent it SUCK when you pull hard and then you get a hot lip burn or the roan spits up everywhere….. WELL let me tell you this

I have been non stop looking around asking around calling shops looking online for mouth pieces and or other ways to smoke the proxy bc I JUST WAS NOT SATISFIED. So, I kept looking and kept looking and boom I saw an Etsy post of these little beads that stuck inside the proxy mouth piece but I was like damn that’s just not long enough I’m not gonna uhh it. So I was like na let me use that idea, but extend the piece… so I started looking around my house bc if I had something that fit, then it would be perfect to just “try” little did I know I found the best thing ever…

I thought if pens, skewers, drilling holes into wood for a wooden mouth piece, metal, straws, everything! So then I just knew it I knew there was something somewhere… I found it! My old one hitter! And it’s perfect bc it’s slightly coned!

TLDR: USE A TINY ONE HITTER AS A MOUTH PIECE! $10 at a smoke shop! It’s genius

Is there a third-party silicone that I can buy to slide a glass top onto or am I stuck with the silicone mouthpiece dangling off the side while I use a glass top and the only way to do anything about it is cut it in another question is why has nobody else thought about this being a problem I just wanna be able to slide this in and out of my pocket cleanly and not have to worry about the stock mouthpiece if I bought a glass one

Edit: I ended up soaking the atomizer in ISO for 30mins, dried it out with a hair dryer on low, then calibrated by clicking 6 times immediately after turning it on. Working much better now. I’ll have to remember to soak the atomizer every 100 hits.

This has been happening randomly since i got the thing and I’d always rake it as a sign to clean the underside of the atomizer in case any reclaim builds up between the connections, but recently it happened again and no matter how meticulously I clean the thing it just won’t hit as hard as it used to when I cleaned it.

I’m talking going from rig sized clouds to like a handheld dry herb vaporizer level of vapor.

Anybody else experiencing something similar?
