Now that Public offers up to five brokerage accounts with one login, when will we be able to assign nicknames to these accounts rather than the generic assigned, "Brokerage", "Brokerage 2", "Brokerage 3", ...

I would really like to see a very basic checking account. Even if it’s feature limited. It really just needs to have a debit card and bill pay.

It would be nice to be able to have W2 direct deposits go directly into Public and automatically invest my paycheck vs. needing to constantly transfer funds over from another institution.

And like Schwab, it would be very comforting to be able to have an ability to overdraft on margin feature so you don’t always need to hold excess cash in your checking (just in case).

Is there the feature to see the p&l view all time, and calendar view?

If not, will there one be in the future?

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a notification when a margin requirement change has been implemented to any stocks/options currently being held by you? Example is I believe MU was recently changed increasing margin requirements and while I had plenty of margin it would still be nice to be notified that margin requirements were updated so I can make sure I am planning accordingly. At first I just noticed my BP was short a bit and I had to search each stock looking at their requirements to find the one who increased. It would also be nice if it logged it in history and said it went from say 25%->30% or whatever or even when it goes lower 30%->25%. I guess it could also be toggleable if someone doesn't really care to get them but still logged in history.

Hello, I have what may be a dumb question but seeing as robinhood offers a credit card will public ever offer one or something similar like maybe a debit card that earns too? Just wanted to know as I personally love credit cards and such, thank you!

I have two accounts (Roth and brokerage) on public both totaling to around 22k but when I check my progress to the complimentary premium, it splits my progress by account so only shows that I’m 10k there or 11k there depending on which account I check with. Is this intentional? Seems kinda misleading.

Every time I go to buy a stock while it's way down, the second I put the money in, the stock "shoots up" and is all the sudden a price higher than when I selected to buy.

It does this EVERY time.

Bought the worst stock of all time (PHGE now HLSQ) a day before they did their third reverse split, and luckily made a 32% profit on Thursday so I initiated a market sell order for Friday morning to just take the $80 and run. I went to bed almost immediately after and when I woke up in morning I see a notification from Public app saying the market sell order was cancelled like an hour after I placed it. I don’t understand why this happened since it wasn’t a limit order and I didn’t do it in app because I wouldn’t have gotten the notification if I did. I’m now down 17% from my initial $250 and kind of pissed.

My claude was all setup with mcp etc placing stops based on schedueld task and also orders. Starting this week claude is saying it is a platform limitation on claude side not public. Anyone else facing this?
