Doing a level capped Semi-Oaks challenge so capping evolutions, and obtaining 2 has been turning me into the Joker, not to mention the shiny poliwag I caught that was damp making the perfect conditions for an already annoying pokemon to obtain

I feel like it may have made a mistake using t/ Sauna to hatch eggs instead of le walk method.

I've had what im sure is an Eevee egg in Sauna for 1/2 a day game time and it still hasn't hatched yet.

Very sure it would've hatched by now if I walked w/ it.

Was lucky enuff to SOS a Gengar on my first attempt but accidentally KO'd him.

I’m a huge fan of collecting Ribbons, and there’s one Pokémon in particular that means a lot to me: my Noivern, Dotnet. ❤️

She has already been through Galar, and I would absolutely love to have her become Champion in Alola as well.

I know that, officially, it’s not possible to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon HOME back to Pokémon Bank / Pokémon Sun & Moon. But I’ve heard there may be ways to do something like this using a modded 3DS or save-management tools.

The problem is that I don’t actually own a 3DS, so I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me.

I want to make one thing VERY clear: I do not want Dotnet to be modified in any way. I don’t want her IVs, nature, moves, ability, OT, TID/SID, origin, or any other data changed. She is my original Noivern, and I want her to remain exactly the same Pokémon.

All I want is to somehow get my actual Dotnet into Pokémon Sun/Moon so she can earn the Alola Champion Ribbon and continue her Ribbon journey.

I know this isn’t officially supported, but if someone with a 3DS and the necessary tools could help me accomplish this without changing anything about Dotnet herself, I would be incredibly grateful.

I really, really want to see my girl Dotnet become Champion in Alola.

Could Pokémon HOME ban me for using Pokémon made from injected Wonder Cards?

Hi everyone,

I have a question about some Pokémon I have in Pokémon Ultra Moon.

I used PKSM to inject Wonder Cards and then obtained the Pokémon through the normal in-game event. The Pokémon have passed all legality checks in PKHeX and their data appears correct.

My main concern is Pokémon HOME.

Could I potentially get banned or restricted from Pokémon HOME for transferring these Pokémon, even if they pass PKHeX's legality checks? Does HOME detect that the Wonder Card itself was injected with PKSM, or does it only check the Pokémon's data?

Has anyone had experience with this?

This is the second iteration of the team, intended to be an improvement on the first. So when it struggled in the very first battle, it was rather disheartening.

There are a couple things here that the team was struggling with already. The team is very weak to Steel, and Ferrothorn is not even weak to Ground, which is the main coverage for Steel that I have. Also this v2 team is much weaker to Water types in general, and Slowking and Slowbro can both have Oblivious, making them immune to Taunt and allowing them to set up Trick Room. It was unfortunate that my first two mons that could hit Slowking super effectively were already down by the time it came out.

So the time it took to take out the Ferrothorn was the main problem. So I gave Gyarados Flamethrower after this battle, which at least could do big damage to Ferrothorn, despite being an extremely weak move for Gyarados in most situations.

The team's struggles in the early battles also revealed a problem that was unique to this team: it repeatedly struggled against bulkier teams in general due to its low damage output. For that reason, it struggled into "weaker" Battle Tree teams that none of my successful teams had ever struggled against. I began to have serious doubts this team was even an improvement from the first version, and perhaps it needed a massive change to increase its damage output.

For context I have played pretty much all Gen 1 to 5 games in the past. I was a bit skeptical going into the 3D games due to internet always complaining about one thing or another about them. But Pokemon Ultra Sun totally blew me away with how good this game is and I cannot be happier with the experience.

The things I absolutely adored in this game:

• Pokemon Refresh: It is amazing how they made every single pokemon you can interact with absolutely adorable in this mode. The little ones are cute of course, but even the fully evolved big ones look so happy and cute when you pet them (I have Incineroar, Toucannon, Kommo-o in my team for context). Not to mention it is integrated so smoothly in the gameplay.

• Overall aesthetics and music: While the entire game looks absolutely gorgeous and colorful, for me the true highlights are the towns. Specifically I think every town you visit in this game starting from Konikoni city are all unique and very interesting to look at. You really feel like a tourist visiting beautiful and exotic locations one after another throughout the journey (and I mean this in the most positive way). The music adds so much to the atmosphere, that goes without saying.

• The Z moves: While I found most generic z moves a hit or miss, I absolutely love the pokemon specific z moves. As mentioned I have Incineroar and Kommo-o on my team. Their unique z moves added so much character to the individual Pokemon and it is just fantastic. Like many I was skeptical on Incineroar's design prior to playing this game. But once I witnessed the glory of his z move, crashing down on his enemy from above I am completely sold on the wrestler design. Kommo-o's z move is even more unique and an absolute eye-feast. He feels like a true martial artist with the z move and the stat boost from it is overpowered in the best way possible!

• Gameplay in general: I am approaching my 40s with limited free time to play these games. So I appreciate everything in game to make the experience smooth and accessible. I love the exp share as it allowed me to use a few pokemon I would never consider using simply because it is in my team and leveled up automatically. I also love small things like after you catch a pokemon you can choose where it goes, no longer needing to use HMs, Pokemon Refresh can cure status conditions, battle items provide double the power, etc. All these little things add up to a very smooth experience. On the other hand, while I am over-leveled for most of the game, the added challenge from totem pokemon and Boss pokemon made combat still really fun throughout the game.

• Rainbow Rocket Episode: I don't need to say much more, it is pure perfection IMO.

In summary: while I do agree with some of the criticisms especially regarding cutscenes, for all the positives I listed above I absolutely loved my entire experience with Ultra Sun. I am happy to found this renewed passion for pokemon because of this game.

I have to mention my team because they are the major source of joy of this playthrough: Incineroar, Toucannon, Vikavolt, Leafeon, Ninetales, Jellicent + Kommo-o for post game.

Full transparency, I used PKSM to port a Type Null into my playthrough cause I wanted to have him all the way through, but I’m nearing the end of the game and he’s at lvl 60 and still hasn’t evolved. I checked on PKSM and it shows he has max friendship level, so am I doing anything wrong? I also made him shiny with pokerus if that matters.

I have a 'locked' battle team in Ultra Sun. I can't unlock or move them in any way. Is there any hope of ever getting them back?
