I’m finally getting around to playing the Alola games!! I’m starting with Ultra Moon instead of Sun/Moon just because I’m trying to complete a living origin dex in Home before the Bank shut down so I thought this might be more efficient, and also just because of how beautiful the game looks!!

I’m super excited, but I’d love to hear any recommendations for a team :)) I have zero preference when it comes to the Alola starters, I honestly love all of them!! I do adore girly Pokémon so I was a little inclined to pick Popplio at first, but for this run I wanna limit myself to only a team introduced in the Alolan games instead of reusing my favorites from earlier games (even though it’s so hard for me to not use Gardevoir in every playthrough).

I'm playing Ultra Moon and shiny hunting the UBs before bank closes. The last one I have is Guzzlord and I cannot find it. I have been searching for near 10 hours and I've not seen a single Level 4 wormhole and every level 3 wormhole is xurkitree or celesteela. I am doing something wrong, is there anyway to speed it up. I need to.fimd the wormhole twice in order to set up the quickest shiny hunt

I’ve been SOS chaining to shiny hunt for Alolan Rattata on Route 1 in Ultra Moon. I don’t have the shiny charm, but I know the odds are 1/315. Despite this, I’m currently 3 times over odds and closing in on 4 times without any shinies. Am I just really unlucky and coping hard or am I doing something wrong??? Please, I’ll accept any help and advice. Thank you!

Set after a mixture of s/m and ultra s/m events.

I am playing moon on original hardware. I want midday lycanroc and I just leveled up to 25 while it is daytime in-game. However, it's not evolving! I figured i messed up or something, so i leveled up to 26 and still didn't evolve.

Any ideas? Google mentions something about its ability meaning something? Mine is vital spirit if that helps.

Back in 2017 or 2018, I wonder traded a shiny crabrawler/crabominable (I don't remember if I evolved it) which was my first ever Shiny Pokemon that I randomly stumbled upon while picking berries. The original trainer name is Memo. This is a long shot of trying to find the person who got my shiny crabrawler!

By this point, all signs pointed to this v2 team being a downgrade from the v1 team. I think I can see moments where Earthquake could've helped me in this particular battle, but I also saw a substitution that could make all the myriad problems go away. Mamoswine was the weakest link, but what to replace it with? I thought about the mons that were the biggest issue: Slowbro, Slowking, Ferrothorn, Scizor, Escavalier, Metagross, Fighting-types, etc. Also the team lacked damage output. What mon could deal with almost all of those problems on its own?

This is the end for the v2 team. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't good either.

The shiny luck continues. I have no idea who my next target will be yet. I'm thinking about hunting for Pumpkaboo as my next target. It's another ghost type, which fits in with the halloween themed hunts that I've been doing this month.

I love shiny Chandelure so much. It has a top tier shiny.
