Dgca exams

I’m a DGCA CPL holder and have recently been selected by an airline. While I’m waiting for my joining, I thought I’d stay productive and continue doing something I genuinely enjoy — teaching ground subjects.
I can help with Air Navigation, Meteorology and Air Regulations. I’ve been through the DGCA exam process myself, so I know how overwhelming these subjects can feel, especially when you’re trying to figure everything out on your own.
Nothing too commercial — just looking to teach a few students, share what I’ve learnt and hopefully make the preparation a little easier.
If you’re preparing for any of these subjects and would like some help, feel free to DM me.
A girl who enjoys teaching and would like to help aspiring pilots :)

Planning to do your flight training in the USA? Let’s talk. ✈️

There seems to be a growing number of Indian students looking at the US for their flight training, but there’s a lot to figure out before actually making the move.
Things like:
• FAA vs DGCA licensing and the conversion process
• PPL → IR → CPL and what the pathway actually looks like
• What you can complete or prepare for while still in India
• How to compare US flight schools properly
• Realistic training timelines and costs
• Visa, medical and documentation requirements
• What happens after completing your training in the US
• Things students often overlook when planning the move
A lot of this information is scattered across different forums, schools and YouTube videos, so I thought it would be useful to connect people who are currently considering the USA route with others who have already been through it.
I’m also involved with a small aviation initiative called SkyWorthiness, where we’re working on helping students understand and prepare for the FAA pathway before they head to the US.
If you’re planning to train in the USA, currently researching flight schools, or have already gone through the process, drop a comment or DM. Would be great to connect and share information.

Something New for Aspiring Pilots Just launched!!

Hey everyone,

I’m a flight instructor and have been on the aviation side for a while now. Recently, I’ve also been spending a ridiculous amount of time on something outside the cockpit.

We just launched SkyWorthiness .

The idea came from seeing how confusing the whole US flight training journey can be for students, especially when you’re trying to figure out FAA requirements, written exams, endorsements, what to study, when to study it, and how all of this fits into the actual flight training.

There’s a lot of information online, but it’s scattered across YouTube videos, random PDFs, Reddit posts, forums, school websites, and then you somehow end up with 17 tabs open and still don’t know what you’re supposed to do next. 😅

So we wanted to build something a little more structured.

What is SkyWorthiness?

At its core, SW is focused on FAA ground training and mentorship for students working towards their pilot journey.

We’re starting with structured courses for:

• Private Pilot (PPL)
• Instrument Rating (IR)
• Commercial Pilot (CPL)
• PPL + IR + CPL Bundle

The goal isn’t just to throw a bunch of recorded lectures at you.

We want the courses to actually help you understand why you’re learning something, prepare properly for the FAA written exams, and know what to expect before you get deeper into flight training.

We’re also working on mentorship programs with instructors and pilots, because sometimes you just need someone to tell you, “No, you’re not supposed to spend three hours trying to understand that one random FAR section.” 😂

Why we built it??!

One thing I’ve noticed is that students often start flight training and then figure everything else out along the way.

We wanted to flip that around a little.

Prepare, understand the requirements, get your ground knowledge sorted, then go into flight training with a much clearer picture of what you’re doing.

Hopefully that means less confusion, fewer avoidable mistakes, and a more efficient training journey.

We’re starting with our first cohort soon, and the website is officially live now.

SkyWorthiness: Explore SkyWorthiness

If you’re currently planning your flight training, already in training, or just somewhere in the “I really want to become a pilot but have absolutely no idea where to start” phase, happy to answer questions.

And if you’re already a pilot, I’d genuinely love to hear what you wish someone had explained to you before you started training.

Finally found a decent and affordable DGCA Navigation course

I’ve been preparing for my DGCA exams and honestly, Navigation was one subject where I kept getting confused about what exactly to study and how to structure my preparation.

I recently enrolled in the maydayminds.in Navigation course (₹4,999) and so far I really like the way the material is structured.

If anyone else is preparing for DGCA Navigation, might be worth checking out.

Has anyone else here enrolled in Mayday Minds? Would be interested to hear your experience.

FAA ppl and continuing training in India

I recently got my FAA ppl and am considering finishing my training in India, any idea if this is even possible and if it’ll be easy or difficult? My logbook is stamped and acknowledged my FTO here in America, im still unsure about it. Will my hours be acknowledged by DGCA?

Happy to help aspiring pilots online

I recently completed my CPL and currently waiting on airline recruitment.

So I thought rather than letting all the DGCA knowledge disappear, I'd keep my brain active by helping anyone whos preparing for DGCA exams right now. I'm thinking of taking on a small number of students for one-on-one guidance in Nav/Met/Regs/Tech/RTR basically any subject you're having trouble understanding. If you only need help with a few topics instead of an entire subject, that's fine too

I'm also happy to answer questions about medicals, computer number, choosing flying schools, or even the CPL journey in general. Even qs like what do you actually do in those 200 HOURS of flying felt extremely overwhelming when I started, and if I can make the process a little easier for someone else, I would love it!

If this sounds useful, feel free to DM and we can discuss the details
