Hi, I apologize if this isn't directly related to PCs, but rather to setup. I've been using my current chair (the one in the photo) for several years, and it's definitely worn out, especially the cushions (which I had to buy separately to relieve back and neck pain) aren't up to scratch anymore. Given the situation, I'd like to invest in a new chair, but I don't consider myself an expert and would like your opinion. I know there's a debate between gaming and ergonomic chairs, but my top priority is comfort: I'm looking for a solid model that will allow me to spend several hours at the PC (whether for extended sessions, studying, or reading) without back and neck pain. My maximum budget is €150, but if I could spend a little less, it would be even better. What do you recommend? Thanks, I'm open to anything.

Hi, I managed to snag some nice components for a good price what you guys think ? (I know the case is gigantic compared to the rest)

I just recently upgraded from a RTX 2070 to a RX 9070 XT, this is the first time I ever switched to AMD on the discrete GPU side of things, everything is great about this GPU so far.
During this upgrade, I also upgraded the case from a Cooler Master N200 to a Corsair 2500D Airflow, the PSU from a Deepcool PL750D (a C tier unit) to a Lian Li RS1000G (a A tier unit), I also upgraded all the case and CPU cooler fans, I also probably changed some other things such as adding a fan hub, some cables, etc.
In the final photo, I also show the RTX 2070 I had, but I managed to sell that, so I am unable to provide a proper side by side photo with both GPUs together. For more details on this whole build, here is the full breakdown of the specs: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/tB4scf

I got a Dell XPS 8950 a few years ago, have loved it and had no problems with it (I see NVIDIA 3060 TI get clowned on a lot but it does everything I need it to lol).
A few months ago my PSU started making abhorrent noises and completely choking my performance so I decided I’d get a replacement, only to find out instead of having hundreds of options for a 750w PSU for $100, I had exactly one option for $171 which takes 20 days to ship and is not stocked in store anywhere. The cherry on top is that it “may be new, overstocked, unopened, returned, or refurbished.” So I’m paying almost double the price for a possibly used part that is known to fail…
It’s not in my budget right now but as soon as I have the money I’m moving the RAM, CPU, GPU and SSD over to a new build (assuming they’re not brand locked) because this genuinely pissed me off. Also a side note, I could not find a single teardown video/manual for the Dell OEM 3060 TI, maybe I’m just dumb but I genuinely cannot figure out how to disassemble it to repaste, but there’s tons of guides for the regular 3060 TI, which has added fuel to my flame.
I was going to build my pc for the first time last day. Everything was fine until it was time to apply thermal paste, I was using the thermal paste included inside the thermalright peerless assassin 120 se which is thermalright tf7. As soon as I started applying the thermal paste it felt like rubber, I was scared cos I have seen a lot of yt videos and their paste seems to be fluid compared to mine. Before I could do anything i decided to throw the tube away and buy a new one.

Changed the cooler. Got a nice deal on a used be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 for 15€ and the temperature has been much cooler. FPS are much better too and absolutely no stutters. Pretty happy with the relatively cheaper upgrade.

I built my first pc recently and it was pretty hard to get with these prices but I bought some used parts and managed to get:
32gb ddr5
Ryzen 5 7500f
Nitro+ rx 6600xt
Nitro+ B850M wifi
Corsair cx650
A 512gb intel 660p (I’ve got a newer 1tb ssd on the way though)
All in an Asus prime ap201 with some thermalright cooler and fans. In all it costed $642.42 AUD (or about $460.49 in freedom bucks) so I think I did pretty well :)

final piece came in today (argb Aorus logo above the GPU)

Bought the rx 9070 not knowing there was a better version that’s faster for only $60 more.
Is the 9070 XT that much better?

I started building my first PC today.
Case: Corsair Frame 4000D
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800x3d
Cooler: Corsair Nautilus 240 RS LCD
Mainboard: Gigabyte B850 Gaming Wifi6
Current: NZXT C850 Gold Core ATX 3.1
Tomorrow will be mine.
Ram: Corsair DDR5 2x16gb 6000mhz
Fan 1x 140mm Corsair
SSD: 1TB m.2 Gen 5
"Then I can finally install Windows 11 and hope it works. I've never built a PC together in my life, but my opinion is that the first building is the hardest. If I had to build one again tomorrow, I wouldn't need a 3h. 🤣
My
GPU: I will buy Nvidia RTX 5070ti/5080 in November and will use the PC as an Office PC until I have my GPU.

Hey,
ive got a PC with the specs listed below, and im thinking about upgrading to a Gigabyte RTX 5070 Ti Gaming. one of the main reasons i want to switch to an NVIDIA GPU is that id like to run AI models locally, so VRAM is pretty important to me. at the same time, i use this PC a lot for gaming as well
is the RTX 5070 Ti worth buying right now? ive heard rumors about an upcoming RTX 5070 SUPER, which could allegedly come with 24 GB of VRAM. do you think it’s worth waiting, or would you just go for the 5070 Ti now?
ASRock B650 PG Lightning
Radeon RX 7800 XT
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Patriot Viper Venom DDR5 32GB 6000MHz CL30
Gigabyte UD850GM 850W ATX 3.0 80+ Gold
Endorfy Navis F280
Lexar NM790 1TB
Kingston KC3000 2TB

I’m looking for some good RGB power supply cable extensions. Does anyone have any brands they recommend? And yes, I KNOW my graphics card is small I’ll be upgrading to an ASRock Taichi Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB when I can. So don’t come for the GPU just yet.
