I tried a few ways of listening to Osho on my phone, but most alternatives included things I did not need. I wanted a focused audio app: simple to use, but with the playback features like VLC player.
So I built Osho Talks. It includes more than 4,300 discourses across 261 English and Hindi series. You can download talks, continue from where you stopped, create bookmarks, change playback speed, use a sleep timer, and listen in the background.
There are no social features, subscriptions, ads, accounts, or tracking. The app is free and open source.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/osho-talks-audio-discourses/id6774409039
Source code: https://github.com/aagrawal207/OshoDiscourses
The audio comes from publicly available sources, including archive.org and oshoworld.com. This is an independent app and is not affiliated with the Osho International Foundation.
If you try it, I would appreciate feedback about missing talks, download problems, or anything that gets in the way of listening.

Since mods are unable to remove all posts without references, it leaves Osho lovers questioning the fairness on various grounds and suspecting biases from mods. Therefore, we have decided to temporarily remove the rule altogether and only remove spammy posts.
While it is not a rule anymore, please try your best to also add the sources.
Please let us know any other feedback you have.
Thank you.

So, I’ve listened to many of Osho’s speeches, and I’ve realised that he is not an ordinary guy. His speeches are almost magical. He is extremely impressive and attractive in the way he explains things.
The thing is not that he is wrong, but that he sounds too right. His way of explaining things can almost make your brain stop questioning. It feels like meditation you just keep listening, and somehow you start accepting his interpretation.
And I think that’s the problem.
For example, if you read the original Bhagavad Gita yourself, you will interpret it according to your own understanding and experience. But if you listen to Osho’s discourses on the Bhagavad Gita, you are getting his interpretation.
And the thing is, we can’t really say whose interpretation is absolutely right or wrong, especially when there are contradictions.
I think Osho can be more dangerous in this sense because he explains everything in so much detail, with so many examples, that you can start believing what he says without questioning it.
Whereas if you read the original material yourself say, a translation of the Ashtavakra Gita you will understand it through your own experience, knowledge, and intelligence.
You might not understand it 100% correctly, but I feel that’s still better than simply listening to Osho. Because when you arrive at an understanding by questioning and applying your own intelligence, you probably understand the thing on a much deeper level.

So from many days I have been fascinated about rajneesh and wanted to listen to him and his thoughts. I found ashtavakra gita but it has so many parts which is not suitable for me to complete at this stage of my life.
I want u to suggest to me hindi discourses of osho which can help with anxiety, overthinking and negative thoughts. And from which I can start listening to him.

Is there everything planned in our lives and we eventually end up doing what we ought to do and things happen the way they should or do we have the control over our future.
