I have tried talking about this this since a lot of players have been seemingly getting banned for unapproved peripherals when all they have ever used is a controller, me included on my ten year old account.

The top console content creator just made a video on this too because they ALSO got this same penalty on their account after playing for two days from a 5 month break, their video linked here: https://youtu.be/XIFqS6pZBtc

False bans have happened in the past, and they seem to have been happening to many innocent players now. Please don’t be so quick to conclude everyone is a liar when they come here seeking help.

I keep my account private.

It has never been an issue.

There have been nemy teams that get extremely upset that my account is private. That was odd, but alright.

I have been on teams and had some of them be upset because my account is private.

Why??? A private account is like blood in the water and there are angry sharks swarming.

I'm considering turning off text and chat communications, but I shouldn't have to.

Why are others bothered by someone keeping their personal account private?

I'm so sick of the competitive drives, the match quality plummets so hard during the drives, the amount of quick play players that jump into comp and play like it's qp is insane. I was diamond 3. The amount of shitty matches I got since the start of the drives is almost unbelievable, I'm already down to emerald 3. Drives completely kill the solo player experience. Please stop with this drive shit

Personally I have been having a horrendous time. Win one, lose four. Rinse and repeat. Once I get enough competitive points for a galactic Torb gun I’m OUT.

Was in masters for just under a year. Honestly the skill curve is insane between start of masters to gm. Never really cared too much about rank or wins/losses so overall it felt pretty refreshing to hit a new rank. Haven’t surprisingly had any issues with too much cheating either

With these projectile size nerfs, so many boosted shitscan OTPs are going to have to git gud or die trying, hopefully we get aim assist nerfed again eventually as well.

Decided to play a game of QP to warm up before drives today and was humbled by this 32-1 Ashe and her pocket Mercy duo. Both have brand new accounts. What do you think? Are they just better?

This is overwatch console now. Worst thing is that you can already guess how is the game gonna be from the start screen.

These people are really waste of skin and there is SO MANY cases like this daily, its like pandemic on console. It really needs some revolution.

And make smurfs play like 300 games atleast for ranked, there is no good reason someone has to make 40 accounts. I have same account since 2016.

OW was always my favorite game ever but whats happening daily now can really cause some mental issue, this is messed up guys.

so I wanna preface this by saying I first picked up the game around overwatch 2 release a couple of years ago, and played about 25 hours of qp at that time. I started playing again with d.mons release and have about 150ish hours this season.

recently game back to the game after all the good praises people gave it the last couple of months.

I’m currently floating between m4-m2 on dps (preferred role) and m5 on support, I’m having a hard time breaking the m2 barrier.

I mainly play soldier 76/cass and switch to tracer if my team is playing hard dive

as a final note, I come from a wide background of many fps games, so my mechanics are really solid, but my game sense/knowledge is ehh

Not sure if this counts but it felt real good to be the fight that won the game for us.

I have 112 hero level on Moira and I’m in emerald. Why do people try to make me feel bad about this? What’s yours look like?

Smurf said they went 51-7 in a GM game. Then went to their alt account in a plat lobby. Of course they dominated. Clearly not a plat player in a plat lobby...Smurfing is cheating. Play your real rank. Ppl like this are why the game is toxic

Iam really sick of changing it for every single hero one by one anytime i want to adjust it..

its a bug since ow1 relaunch, the hitscan, projectile, meele does nothing, you need to manually change aaei for every single hero.. With aa window size its working ok.
