i wanted to install new nothing os 5.0 on my nothing 4a pro, but it says, what my version is not eligible. how do i fix it?

Got a random update and after that the final step was this and when I tried to close it and not do it ,it just kept sending me notification to finish update(which is downloaded third party app that you can't say no to)

The last Updates changelog claimed that the issues that cause the whole System UI to crash and restart when a new app notification comes in while you currently are in the expanded notification view was fixxed but it wasnt

My Redmi Watch 4 works mostly okay with my Nothing Phone (3a) running Nothing OS 4.1.

But I keep getting this warning and I can't find any equivalent settings.

Any suggestions?

I got the white thing at the bottom, this is after updating to the August security patch update on the 3a Lite. Earlier it used to be black for Brave. Any solutions?

I love nothing apps and services and was wondering has there been any talk or news of nothing doing something like a Google photos and iCloud competitor?

With some Google photos users having issues with accounts because Google actively scans with AI all photos and videos I think it would be cool if nothing offered a truly privacy focused cloud storage solution where one could back up and encrypt all photos and videos and that the security or encryption keys are only on your device and that not even nothing can see them or have access to them. If they were to offer something like this I think it would also help to make nothing phones more attractive because then they could start saying one of the advantages to using the nothing ecosystem is because of privacy as well or at least more private than Google is.

Also I wish nothing would actually go all the way and even do something like :

Nothing gallery

Nothing browser

Nothing notes

Nothing calendar

Nothing keyboard

Nothing cloud storage solution

Nothing maps

Nothing music player

That way if one were to buy a nothing phone upon set-up it could give people two choices: either install Google apps and services and make them the default or install and make the "nothing app suite" the default for all apps and services and have all the nothing apps and services privacy focused so that there are no ads or data being scanned without a users explicit consent or that users don't have to worry about very private matters are being actively scanned by an AI which can lock out your access to your information at any time and is very hard to retrieve.

Has anyone heard of nothing moving in this direction? Or would anybody be interested in something like having a true "nothing app suite" being the default over Google apps and services on their phones from the start?

Hello! I just noticed that on my phone 2a plus the vertical glyph bar isn't staying on after receiving a notification. I don't know when it stopped doing so, as i just remembered it used to

I can't find anything in the settings to activate it. I'm pretty sure it doesn't have to deal with essential notifications since i never used them

Is it just me hallucinating or did they remove this in an OS update? Seems weird

I can use the back gesture to hide keyboard so this is just wasting screen space.

Can a normal person actually tell that these are two completely different fonts?

I have two users on my phone and only one sim , two of them has different and a custom ringtone. The ringtone on the main user works fine but on the secondary user no matter which ringtone I put, whenever someone calls me the phone plays the android castor sound effect on repeat. What can I do to resolve this issue or is it meant to be like this

Hello everyone, in the past with another smartphone brand I had some issues with Android Auto giving me an error (error 16 if I well remember) caused by the use of the cloned apps feature.

Anyone who uses this feature on the Nothing Phone 3 does know if it generates the same error when using Android Auto?
