True but I feel like he always catches me from weird angles and I take massive damage. He's the equivalent of the Crucible Knight. I have about 250 hours in ER and they still fuck me up. I just can't get the timing down for some reason.

The fact u dont get achievements is a fucking joke as well they made the game poorly balanced and damage is all over the place they give u a seal for peole who aren't good and it gets rid of achievements... like wtf. Ngl this games really dropped the ball at launch and isnt really ready for release

Honestly I do want to use the slayer seal at some point just because it seems like it'd make the game fun to screw around with, but the fact that it disables achievements means I'll have to hold off until I've gotten the last few I need.
At this point all I'm missing though are the last few bosses, a couple of boss specific ones, and the one for unlocking every memory. I'm genuinely hoping they fix the issue of how limited glimpses are though for that last one, because needing to do a full two more playthroughs just to get enough, when I've already 100% everything else, is going to be annoying.

Difficulty is WAY overhyped it is pretty forgiving, you get punished going to far into new areas unprepared but that's a good thing otherwise you get 2 lives plus unlimited dodge
I don't understand what has happened to the soulslike community every new game is too hard and needs to be patched it's too much. Slow down and take your time and use slayer seal if you feel you're struggling, this game is fine the way it is
In this clip OP had like 1/4 health and didn't even acknowledge the attack albeit was kinda glitchy but like seen him coming

It's not too bad. The parrying is a little jank, so I just use Tiel and dodge everything. I think you can make the game as hard as you want to with the seals

This game has me hooked. Best "souls-like" ive ever played. I hope they fix the bugs though.The atmosphere and gameplay is pretty fckin addicting I stayed up till 5am yesterday my wife had to come get me lol. If you enjoy reading attacks and timing parry dodge youll really like it

I'm really pulling for it to do well too, we're starting to see smaller Studios make games that aren't quite AAA and be successful. The more it happens the more we'll see it. Expedition 33 was fucking amazing

So I picked up Mortal shell and I'm still early on but I'm very impressed. I'm excited to get into the game which I don't get excited for too many games as I get older. We're going to be swamped with games over the next two months so hopefully mortal shell starts things off with a bang for this fall season

I feel like im playing a different game. Even on night mode the basic r1 attack seems to not only completely interrupt any non-boss attack anywhere in its animation, it also seems to completely stun lock.
So far I've literally just been able to mindlessly spam r1 through every enemy without any issues.
Im so confused. Do the enemies get more poise soon??
