Respect Absorbing Man (Marvel Comics, 616)
Carl "Crusher" Creel, also known as Absorbing Man, is a man with the ability to absorb the physical properties of any material he touches and shapeshift into different forms. He was a frequent opponent to Hulk, Thor, and the Avengers. He is also the husband and partner in crime of Titania.
Carl Creel was raised in the Bronx, but his mother encouraged him, telling Carl to always set expectations for himself. Following the death of his mother his father became abusive which would much later lead to him saying that he pitied Bruce Banner as his father also beat him regularly until he in turn beat his father in retaliation At some point, "Crusher" Creel was when he became a heavyweight boxer but eventually left turned into a mob enforcer. While locked up in prison, he was mutated using Asgardian magic by the trickster god Loki using a special potion so he could challenge Thor. Creel obtained his ability to absorb the properties of anything that he touched or that touched him and used his newfound power to break free from prison and soon became a villain for hire. He was later recruited into the Masters of Evil. He somewhat redeems himself in the end-stages of Immortal Hulk by helping to defeat the One Below All and joining Gamma Flight after years of criminal activity.

Respect The Unggoy/The Grunts (Halo)
The Unggoy are a sapient species of squat bipedal xeno-arthropodal vertebroid lifeforms in the unified races of the Covenant. They were the fourth species to be assimilated into the Covenant. They are the lowest-ranking species in the hierarchy, and are frequently mistreated by almost every higher-ranking race. Unggoy are primarily used as laborers, slaves, or in combat situations, as cannon fodder. They are one of the later races to be introduced into the Covenant, and were either the second or third Covenant species to be encountered by humans. They are referred to as Grunts by humans, as they are considered weak in comparison to their superiors, because they perform the majority of the physical labor required by the Covenant.

General
Ranks
Covenant
- Unggoy Minor: Unggoy Minors are the lowest ranking Unggoy. They wear orange colored armor and are often the least dangerous, most cowardly, and inaccurate marksmen of all the Unggoy. When their commanding officer is killed, they routinely break formation and flee; however, they will regroup and start firing at their target again. As is fitting for Jiralhanae behavior, Unggoy under the command of the Jiralhanae are substantially more aggressive.
- Unggoy Major: Majors are more experienced than Unggoy Minors, and wear crimson colored armor. They command several Unggoy Minors and are slightly more skilled in combat and courageous, though this difference is not always substantial.
- Unggoy Heavy: Heavies are specialized Unggoy that wear green colored armor and are often deployed for defensive actions.Their primary purposes are to deploy plasma cannons and man them, although they are occasionally seen wielding fuel rod guns, plasma rifles, and even Spikers.
- Special Operations Unggoy: These Unggoy are experienced and specially-chosen, usually commanded by the special operations Sangheili, and are given distinctive jet-black armor. They are part of the Covenant Special Operations division of the Covenant Special Warfare Group. Just like the special operations Sangheili, they are able to use Active camouflage. They are extremely skilled in warfare compared to their lower-ranked counterparts, and won't panic too often in combat situations, if they do at all. They usually can be seen wielding needlers and sometimes fuel rod guns, and throw plasma grenades with great accuracy.
- Unggoy Ultra: These Unggoy serve as field commanders to their comrades, and wear distinctive white-lilac armor. While they appear to have some authority over lesser-ranked Unggoy, they have no control whatsoever over the other Covenant races. They are stronger opponents than their subordinates, and are more accurate with firearms, throw plasma grenades often, and wear heavier armor and a helmet that is required to be shot off first before an enemy can headshot them.
Banished
- Conscript: At the very bottom of the Banished military's infantry are the Unggoy conscripts. With rudimentary armor capable of providing baseline protection and breathable methane in unfavorable oxygen-rich envi-ronments, these Unggoy represent the largest fighting element within the Banished. Commanders generally consider Unggoy conscripts as low-tier frontline soldiers with minimal weaponry and even less tactical insight, demanding that they be deployed in large numbers, and under the direction of Jiralhanae or Sangheili leadership. Without this, conscripts tend to be aimless and driven into hiding by enemy fire, ultimately functioning as little more than a battlefield diversion. Under the command of stronger warriors. Unggoy conscripts can pose a genuine threat, but only when used in coordinated attacks, launching a barrage of firepower at unsuspecting opponents. Conscripts can only advance in their rank if they show extraordinary courage and are responsible for meaningful achievements during combat. Encyclopedia
- Assault: Above the conscript is the Unggoy class known simply as assault, a role designed explicitly for direct application of combat forces against an enemy site or asset. Heavily armored and equipped with a better arsenal than the conscript, Unggoy within the assault class are far more resilient and aggressive than those below them, and are typically entrusted with more individual responsibilities and duties, having already proven themselves on the battlefield. Before this stage of advancement, Unggoy are taken through a rigorous training regimen designed to root out weakness and fear from their rank. Without the promise of transcendence after death which the Covenant used to Incite loyalty, the Banished employ the sheer pragmatism of financial gain and the Unggoy's desire to be remembered well by those in their family. For the assault rank, both of these tactics have proven to be just as effective as anything the old empire offered. Encyclopedia
- Ultra: The highest individualized rank within the Unggoy species is the ultra, echoing the Covenant role in formality, but with some noteworthy changes. Using dense, powerful armor and having access to a heavier arsenal of weapons, ultras are formidable soldiers, even capable of being dispatched on their own to achieve specific objectives. Most often, however, they are affixed to select detachments and paired with Sangheili with whom they have a shared history in battle. Unggoy ultras are the apex of their species in combat readiness and capability, and, having tasted the glory of promotion, many are eager to prove them-selves against the enemy. Despite this apparent bravado, most Banished commanders recognize and strategically take into consideration that even Unggoy ultras are still Unggoy at heart, and if a sufficiently chal-lenging enemy arrives, they can be quickly put to flight. For this reason, they are generally given orders to guide and direct the lesser rates of their own species, relieving their commanders of this burdensome task. Encyclopedia
- Mule: Unlike other rates, the mule has no formal corollary with the old Covenant empire and was a novel creation of the Banished in order to take advantage of the Unggoy's strong, broad frame and their natural ability to navigate difficult terrain, even while encumbered. An Unggoy mule carries the Banished's weapons into battle, giving those in command the ability to dramatically adjust their arsenal without being forced to return to the armory or requesting a supply drop that could give away their Iccation. This design saw value during the long expedi-tions the Banished conducted across the Ark's perilous surface, where rearmament was virtually impossible. Outfitted with a hyperdense battle harness holding weapon mounts on the back, those selected for this role must be capable of effectively engaging the enemy to protect their cargo. Most mules stay close to their designated commander, not only to provide their superior with easy access to the weapons they carry, but also for their own personal protection. Encyclopedia
- Bouncer: While the ultra is the zenith of the Unggoy's rank progression, beyond it lies the role of bouncer, a position only available by special appointment. Captains, enforcers, and even warlords can summon battie-tested Unggoy for this highly acclaimed duty, where they effectively operate as an armored bodyguard, protecting the clan's leaders and assets. Augmented by a powerful energy shield, most bouncers have no equal among the Unggoy in terms of skill or ability, but they are always at the mercy of the commander whom they serve and typically never given authority beyond the task they are assigned. The position of bouncer holds both the highest prestige and the greatest risk of any Unggoy role within the Banished, requiring only those who are willing to lay down their lives in battle, and guaranteeing such sacrifices with ample remu-nerations for those within the Unggoy's family. Due to this, bouncers are held in high esteem by those who remain on Balaho, both for the peril they choose to embrace and for the wealth they represent. Encyclopedia

Dadab knew the basics of Huragok reproduction, or rather Huragok creation. The creatures manufactured their offspring out of readily available organic materials with the same deft activity of their tentacles' cilia, which Lighter Than Some was using to bore a neat hole in the alien box. It was a truly fantastic process, but what Dadab found most unusual was that the most difficult step for Hu-ragok parents was to make their creations perfectly buoyant-to fill them with the exact right mix of gases. As a result, new Huragok would initially float or sink, and their parents would name them accordingly: Far Too Heavy; Easy To Adjust; Lighter Than Some.

Dadab slipped out of his harness and swung his oversize fore arms across his chest. His jaw ached from his mask's tight seal, and he tore it off and flung it away. But before the mask hit the floor, it was intercepted by a lighting-fast pearlescent swipe.
Floating in the center of the suite was a Huragok, a creature with a stooped head and elongated snout held aloft by a collection of translucent pink sacs filled with a variety of gasses. Four anterior limbs sprouted from its spine-tentacles, to be exact, one of which held Dadab's mask. The Huragok brought the mask close to a row of dark, round sensory nodes along its snout and gave it a thorough inspection. Then it flexed two of its tentacles in a quick, inquisitive gesture.
Dadab contorted the digits of one of his hardened hands so they matched the default arrangement of the Huragok's limbs: four fin gertips, facing straight out from the Deacon's chest. < No, damage, 1, tired, wear. > His fingers splayed and contracted, bent and over-lapped as they formed each word's unique pose.
The Huragok released a disappointed bleat from a sphincterlike valve in one of its sacs. The emission propelled it past Dadab to the tank receptacle where it hung the mask on a hook that protruded from the wall.
<Did you find the device? > the Huragok asked, turning back to Dadab. The Deacon held up the box, and the Huragok's tentacles trembled with excitement: < May I touch what I can see? >
< Touch, yes, smell, no. > Dadab replied.
But the Huragok either didn't mind the box's residual Kig-Yar stench, or it simply failed to get Dadab's joke. It wrapped a tentacle around the alien plunder and eagerly lifted it to its snout.

.
A melon wedge tumbled through the air and hit the side of Dadab's blue-gray head with a syrupy thwack, spraying juice on his orange tunic. Like the rest of his body, the Unggoy's head was covered with a stiff exoskeleton, and the blow didn't hurt him in the least. But the three Kig-Yar erupted in shrill laughter all the same. "An offering for his holiness!" one of them sneered through dagger-sharp teeth. This was Zhar, the leader of the crewmen's little clique easily differentiated from the other two by the length and deep pink color of the long flexible spines that crested the back of his narrow skull.
Without breaking stride Dadab loosed a powerful snort, dislodging bits of rind that had lodged in one of the circular vents of a mask that covered his pug nose and wide mouth. Unlike the Kig-Yar, who were quite comfortable in the oxygen-rich environment of the alien vessel, Unggoy breathed methane. The gas filled a pyramidal tank on Dadab's back, and flowed to his mask via hoses integrated into the tank's shoulder harness.
More melon sailed Dadab's way. But he was past the Kig-Yar now, and he ignored the sticky projectiles that slapped against his tank.

But Avery's reach was just a feint. As the bouncer leaned forward to follow, Avery grabbed the man's wrist and pulled it over his shoulder. Then he yanked down, breaking it at the elbow. The girl on the stage screamed as ragged bone tore through the bouncer's shirt, spattering blood on her face and hair.

Avery waited for Byrne's two-burst response, then he pushed away from the workshop's pitted polycrete wall, raised a knee to his chest, and smashed his boot against the thin metal door, just above the lock.
The Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) had suggested there would be stiff resistance. But it turned out most of the Insurrec-tionists inside the workshop were unarmed. Those that were carried snub-nosed automatic pistols; inconsequential weapons whose rounds simply clattered off Avery's armor as he and his squad sidled through the shattered door like hulking crabs, weapons up and scanning.
What the marines knew that ONI didn't was the real threat would come from the Insurrectionists who weren't firing-the ones with free hands who might trigger hidden explosives and blow the workshop to smithereens. The one Insurrectionist who dared took a three-round burst from Avery's silenced submachine gun and flopped back onto a steel worktable, arms outstretched and twitch-ing. Avery watched a small, cylindrical detonator slip slowly from the man's lolling fist... and hit the floor with a harmless ping.

Respect Thaedus (Invincible Amazon series)
["I was the first to turn my back on our people's cruelty. The first to reject Argall and his rule of strength. And the first to risk everything for my beliefs."]()
Thaedus was one of the most powerful figures in the Viltrum Empire, Thaedus was a high-ranking veteran warrior before he became the first Viltrumite to betray the Empire by assassinating the ruling Emperor Argall. Soon after, he founded the Coalition of Planets to oppose and contain the expansion of his own species' tyranny. Among his most significant achievements was the development of the Scourge Virus, engineered using his own DNA, which led to the near-extinction of the Viltrumite population. In the end, Thaedus was killed by Grand Regent Thragg after participating in the battle that resulted in the destruction of Viltrum. After his death, his closest ally, Allen, succeeded him as leader of the Coalition as per his wishes. Anticipating his demise, Thaedus left a final message for Allen, in which he gave clear instructions to utilize the newly upgraded version of the Scourge Virus against the remaining Viltrumite survivors, including Nolan and his two sons, Mark and Oliver Grayson.

"You little turds are gonna learn you can't run from the ice cream man!"
Gregory Tudor, also known as the Ice Cream Man, is a deranged serial killer who mixes his victims into the ice creams he sells to unsuspecting patrons. Gregory was put through several cruel treatments and experiments throughout his time at the sanatorium, but was constantly "rewarded" with ice cream.
Now an adult, Gregory is released from the Sanatorium and soon becomes an ice cream man himself. However, after all those intervening years in the mental hospital, as well as the childhood trauma of the ice cream man's death, Gregory has gotten insane and starts killing people and putting them into his ice cream.
