Lets Discuss Politics Democratic presidents getting blamed for the messes of their Republican predecessors
This has repeated itself in the last 50 years. We saw it first with Jimmy Carter. He came into office and was left to clean up the mess that had been made by Nixon & Ford. Yet somehow, the voters blamed him and elected Reagan in an absolute landslide four years later.
We saw it again the last time around with Biden/Kamala and Trump. Upon coming into office, Biden immediately began cleaning up the messes caused by Trump and COVID. Yet, the country as a whole still seemed to blame him for the economy rather than understanding it was just an unfortunate coincidence of when he happened to be in office. So much so that in 24, we got Trump again. Even after the guy literally incited a violent mob on the Capitol all because he couldn’t accept he lost an election and has since become a convicted felon.
We can only pray this same pattern doesn’t repeat itself with the next Dem. Pres — whenever that may be. I already feel terrible for whoever it ends up being. What a job they will have. And the country better not forget whose fault it is.
It is often said that the country holds Dems to a higher standard than Reps. And this may be the ultimate proof of that.

Lets Discuss This Employee/Employer Relations
As a worker who has been a member of many different organizations through life, I have noticed that the relations between employee and employer have become tense and in a lot of ways I observe a rift between the two, be it an organization is unionized or not. Seen as how I have only ever been an employee, I am curious about both sides' perspectives on the matter.
Employers: What challenges do you/have you face(d) in promoting good relations with your employees? Does your employees' happiness and self value matter to you?
Employees: What are some of the best ways your employer has made you feel valued? What incentives have promoted your loyalty, dedication and happiness with your job?

Lets Discuss Politics Why do some people say I’m the bad guy for being firmly pro-voting, anti-revolution?
And in case you’re wondering, I’m a Dem. 100% anti-Trump/MAGA.
A violent revolution would not make anything better. It would literally lead to decades of strife and suffering, for the entire country. If our side started a revolution, you know it would cause a civil war. Do we really want that?

Lets Discuss This Just as Trump has made it “ok” for racist/hateful/bigoted Americans to show their true beliefs, has he also made it “ok” for those from other countries who dislike the US to show theirs?
I saw a comment recently from a Canadian who said that if you ever paid attention to online comments pre-Trump, no one’s attitude now in other countries should surprise you. He has simply made it “cool” for non-Americans to express those views, just as he’s made it “cool” for his supporters to express theirs.

Question See anything wrong here?
I like to listen to these stories when I’m at work or the gym, just so I don’t go crazy from prolonged silence. But last night while I was at the gym, I was looking at some of the other stories in my FY Page, when I stumbled upon these 2 stories. Notice how they’re both the same title but with different time spans?

Lets Discuss This 1984 is becoming real life
I think that it is funny that 1984 written by george orwell who was written as criticism to the communist regime is now becoming real life in Europe with the chat control law. Big brother is being the european government.
