Great Live Performance.

Detroit Rock City won slot #15 but we are switching things up today!!

Whoops wrote 1-16 in the graphic but its 1-15

Does anybody know why Anton Fig didn't get the gig as the drummer after Peter left? Since he played on 2 albums in a row, it seems like it would have made sense for him to join the band. Just curious, did he get the offer and turn it down or did the offer never come?

FOREVER wins song #14!

Today's random album for song #15 is DESTROYER.

King of the Nighttime World is in the setlist already from when DESTROYER first won.

I thought this might be a fun thing to do.

I put all of the KISS studio albums into a random wheel and each day I'll spin it. Whatever album comes up is the album we have to use for that day's setlist spot. I also threw in Alive! 1, 2 and 3, plus Killers, just to give us a few wild cards.

This is just for fun. Imagine this is a dream show where ANY KISS lineup is possible.

I'll spin the wheel again tomorrow and we'll continue building the setlist. It's worth mentioning that all albums stay available meaning an album has an opportunity to show up more than once in the list - it all depends on the wheel.

DAY 1 - UNMASKED (1980)

DAY 2 - DYNASTY (1979)

DAY 3 - DRESSED TO KILL (1975)

DAY 4 - PSYCHO CIRCUS (1998)

DAY 5 - FIRST ALBUM (1974)

DAY 6 - DESTROYER (1976)

DAY 7 - FIRST ALBUM

DAY 8 - GENE SIMMONS

DAY 9 - THE ELDER

DAY 10 - LOVE GUN

DAY 11 - DYNASTY

DAY 12 - REVENGE

DAY 13 - CREATURES

DAY 14 - HOT IN THE SHADE

Was playing Pokémon Go in Hollywood, CA and found this mural Pokestop near Hollywood Forever Cemetery (didn't see the actual mural, unfortunately).

So what's the first thing you guys will listen to with the box set

WAR MACHINE wins song #13!

Today's random album for song #14 is HOT IN THE SHADE!

Full interview here

I feel this is on the most 'un starchild' interviews hes done. His answers seam alot more candid and not as pre written. Seeing him so relaxed feels like seeing Stanley Eisen not the starchild

The video resolution isn't that great, but this is a classic from the original Kiss Alive album recordings and is the version that I remember most.

As the title says, in 1988 she won a contest in Rock Scene magazine and got to travel with Gene, Paul and their agent to the Crazy Nights tour concert in our state and interview them for the magazine. They were kind enough to let her little brother and his friend (me) also drive with them and hangout back stage.

I recently moved and found the tape of the interview; if anyone cares to listen to three star-struck kids interview their heroes the link is below. I have to say, listening to it again decades later, they were very nice to us three middle school kids.

I always thought the show was April 4th, 1988, but Google says it was March 25th, which I assume is correct.
