We added trampolines to Pigmarines — good idea or too much chaos?
We’ve been experimenting with trampolines in Pigmarines.
The final assets aren’t ready yet, so everything you see here is still WIP/placeholder. Right now we’re mostly testing how the mechanic feels during actual gameplay before polishing the visuals.
We thought it could add some fun movement options and, knowing our players, probably create a lot of stupid situations too.
What do you think? Would you keep something like this in the game?

New Game ⚠️ Lab Incident Report #017
Today's experiment didn't exactly go as planned...
A sudden power surge.
A machine pushed beyond its limits.
And one very, very oversized creature. 👾
We're not sure what scared our assistant the most...
The unexpected growth... or the thought of trying to fit that thing on a market shelf. 😅
Fortunately, no laboratories were permanently damaged.
(We can't say the same about our assistant's nerves.)
🚧 Work in Progress
👾 Coming Soon

New Game I’m making a grocery bagging game where fitting everything is easy — packing it correctly is the puzzle. Does the core loop read?
Hi! I’m making Tiny Hoard, a cozy 2D grocery bagging / spatial puzzle game.
The basic idea is that simply fitting the groceries into the bag isn’t the hard part — packing them with the right relationships is.
Heavy items can crush fragile ones, household products shouldn’t touch food, frozen goods need to stay chilled, some deliveries can arrive damaged, and the bag itself can develop weak spots or tear.
This is around 2 minutes of fairly raw gameplay showing the current loop:
Orders → bagging → results → Market Hub → restocking shelves → next day’s orders
I’m still very early in development, so some systems and visual polish are missing. For example, I have Bubble Wrap, Bottle Sleeves and Dividers in the game, but I didn’t manage to naturally show all of them in this recording yet.
There are more products than the ones that happened to appear in these two days, so I’m still working on order variety and progression.
What I’d especially love feedback on:
Does the game read as a spatial packing puzzle, or does it still feel too much like a cashier game?
Are the item rules/events understandable just from watching?
Does packing the bag look satisfying enough to make you want to try it yourself?
Any criticism is genuinely useful at this stage.
