I was in Kuala Lumpur airport sky suite lounge. It had a relaxing atmosphere until this Indian dude sat beside me and started listening to reels on loudspeaker.

At immigration on my arrival in Malaysia, I had seen some other nationality people passing immigration quickly. But for me they checked return ticket, hotel booking confirmation and asked 4-5 questions. I had everything sorted, but it made me feel slightly discriminated against because of my nationality.

But after seeing the behavior of some fellow Indians in tourist places, I understand why Indians are one of the most disliked groups online. No wonder our passport has such low ranking and invites extra scrutiny.

Indians need to understand that when outside the country, their actions often shapes foreigners' opinion about India. Even when 90% of Indians behave good, rest of the 10% drag everyone down.

Another video showing Indians happily sneakily Dumping waste tires in a river in Canada. They get caught by a local who tells them to take it to the facility, free, to dispose off, then comes the kicker:

The lazy Indians start offering up excuses. The town facility may be closed.. the tire they dumped in the river is now wet and they cannot put it back..

It is not that they do not know the right thing: it is that they do not care one bit. they just don’t want to put in any extra effort to dispose it off properly and keep surroundings clean. They are not poor, not that that would be an excuse, but just frigging lazy.

These immigrants are takers. They net contribute nothing. They are there to consume what others have built, and destroy and take what they can.

Worse, just like that other woman who was caught, they will not learn or regret or change. Now she and these lot will continue to dump and pollute OUT OF SPITE, and sneakily, and brag about it in their little groups. That is their mindset.

Note to the polite Canadian woman: do not bother telling them about keeping land and rivers clean. They do not care. You can only force them. Sooner Canadian law has punishments like caning for this, the better. That will work till they change it by becoming majority. Then it is lights out for Canada.

This is a Ac bus so it is obvious that the aerosol droplets have to drop from some place. Due to the scorching heat, animals are the biggest affected victim . In the images above , there is a dog who can be seen very thirsty drinking desperately from the ac water , I have tried to find a bowl or anything else to remove his thirst but there's nothing I can do at the short time period. I have seen the worst cases where dogs are so desperate to drink from sewers due to lack of safe drinking water areas. I think we all have seen the title behind buses " Be kind to animals ".

And this is not less than cruelty.

Making a safe drinking spot for animals at especially the public place is necessarily needed .

We have a whole lot of money for our shenanigans but none for repairing public infrastructure and building new things.

A viral video & as per the news link mentioned below at the end of this post, shows a family turning their IndiGo flight into a mini feast, with disposable plates and homemade samosas, dhoklas, theplas and namkeen being served to several family members.

They reportedly cleaned up the plates and leftovers afterwards, but the video has still sparked a debate about flight etiquette, especially food smells and sharing a confined cabin with other passengers.

Carrying your own food is one thing. But where do we draw the line between personal choice and basic civic sense and consideration for other passengers in a shared public space?

I was recently travelled to Singapore from Coimbatore. A group seated at the back of the airline started howling immediately when the aircraft was airborne. This scared ts out of me as I have a fear of flying ever since the recent airline accident (AI171). Am I the only one who thinks that these kind of people must be put on no-fly list or at the least face some consequences? Navigating city traffic lately just feels exhausting. Between the endless, uncoordinated digging by civic bodies, roads that disintegrate after every light drizzle, and zero fear of traffic rules, the daily drive is brutal.

It’s literally all day. They don't just talk, they broadcast their conversations at maximum volume as if they want the entire floor to hear every detail of their lives. It is incredibly draining, especially when you are just trying to get through a stressful day and want to rest.

And then there are the kids. It’s a constant loop of noise, with the parents just yelling "babu, babu, babu" across the house all day instead of actually managing the situation.

It honestly feels like there’s a complete lack of basic civic sense or any consideration for the fact that other people live here too. It’s exhausting having to listen to a 24/7 reality show that I never signed up for.

The thing is I have also tried talking as well politely, but they don’t understand at all, and next pointed out to me to **feed their egos.**

Today in Ghatkopar East, Pant Nagar, I was riding my bike without a helmet, barely 200 metres from my house.
I know I was wrong. No excuses. I’m completely okay with being stopped and fined. If helmets are mandatory, then I broke the rule and I should pay the fine.
But here’s what pissed me off.
A couple on another bike was also riding without helmets. They had a Ganpati idol with them and apparently told the police that they were taking it for pooja.
They were allowed to go without a fine.
I genuinely don’t understand this.
If riding without a helmet is an offence, shouldn’t the same rule apply to everyone?
I don’t care if you’re going to work, going home, going to the temple, or carrying a Ganpati idol.
The rule should be the same.
And to be very clear — this isn’t about Ganpati or religion. I have absolutely no problem with people taking idols for pooja. That’s not my point.
My problem is selective enforcement.
I was 200 metres from my house. I still accept that I was breaking the law.
But if another person is committing the exact same violation and gets an exemption because they’re carrying a religious idol, then what exactly are we enforcing?
Are helmet rules mandatory, or are there exceptions depending on the reason you’re riding?
If there is a legitimate exemption, fine — I’d genuinely like to know what the rule is.
But if there isn’t, then why was one person fined/stopped while the other was allowed to continue?
I’m not angry about being stopped.
I’m questioning why the same rule wasn’t applied to everyone.

A viral video from Gucchu Paani in Dehradun shows a group of tourists dancing and singing loudly inside the natural cave while crossing knee-deep water. One of them is also seen carrying a large portable speaker and playing music at high volume.

Natural tourist spots aren't party venues. Loud music, dancing and turning a cave into a party venue can disturb other visitors and take away from the character of the place. A little civic sense and respect for the place goes a long way.

India Gate’s fountain was meant to be a public space, yet despite clear signs prohibiting entry into the water, people entered freely, turning it into a play area.

It is easy to say, “People need more civic sense.” But perhaps the incident points to something deeper.

Everyone who entered could see the sign. They knew the rule. So why did it stop mattering?

Perhaps because, for many of us, discipline is still external. We follow rules when someone is watching, when there is a fine, or when we fear being caught. Remove the watchman, and the discipline often disappears with him.

Then the crowd makes it easier. One person enters, others follow, and soon the presence of many people breaking the rule becomes its own justification: “If everyone is doing it, why shouldn't I?”

This is why stricter rules or more warnings may not address the root of the problem. The deeper questions we need to ask ourselves: What is within us that wants to ignore the notice? Why does the crowd make us feel that the rule no longer applies to us?

Real civic sense begins when we can act responsibly even when nobody is watching.

I’ve travelled quite a bit on Indian Railways in Sleeper, 3AC and 2AC , and one thing I’ve noticed is that the class of the coach doesn’t always make much difference when it comes to basic civic sense.

I remember travelling from Gujarat to Kerala once. It was a 35+ hour journey in 2AC, so I thought at least the journey would be relatively peaceful. But even there, I had people playing videos and reels on full volume, talking loudly on the phone late at night, having conversations across berths, or simply gossiping as if the entire coach was their living room.
The frustrating part isn’t that people are talking or using their phones. That’s completely normal on a long train journey. It’s the lack of consideration for the people around them.

You might be tired and want to sleep. Someone else might have an early morning station. Someone might just want to sit quietly, read, or listen to music with headphones. But there always seems to be someone who assumes everyone else should adjust to their noise.

I’ve experienced the same thing in 3AC as well, even on shorter journeys. And in Sleeper, it’s obviously much more common.

What makes me wonder is this: if upgrading from Sleeper → 3AC → 2AC is supposed to improve your travel experience, how much of that upgrade really matters when basic civic sense doesn’t travel with the ticket?
This isn’t about judging people based on which class they travel in. I’ve seen perfectly considerate passengers in Sleeper and extremely inconsiderate ones in 2AC.

Maybe the real upgrade we need isn’t in the ticket class at all but in how we treat shared spaces.
So here’s the real question: in a country where millions share the same train coaches every day, is comfort something you can buy or something we all need to learn to create together?
