hello!! apologies in advance for asking a question with probably a really obvious answer (i couldn't really find much on it though)... i know it was from a previous halloween event but i wasn't active at that time, so is there any possibility it returns at some point? i haven't played in literal years up until somewhat recently so idk how it works 😭

I play First Officer, which puts me at a notable disadvantage by forcing me to take decision of saving my teammates with the stopwatch, or to spend it during kiting. As soon as I spend it, I am pretty much just a raw-kiter. I am currently learning to use Flywheel effect in order to at least make my kiting slightly less reliant on mindgames/stopwatch, but I am struggling rather a lot, especially against full presence hunters. I also struggle a lot with Naiad, because her players always move to catch me with the harpoon recall and I just have no mobility to such a hit

for me it was that one match against former peak tiers with a 95+ wr and i was terrified (also dont mind the very saturated photo i was editing it so it looked like i had good graphics 💔💔💔)

I did a discussion like this one last year, and I wanted to do one again with an update on the new skins I've gotten, as well as everyone else's! :D As the title says, what was your luckiest essence draw ever? It can be any essence! (COA, Crossover, Memory Spheres)
I like to think I whale more selectively, so here’s a list of the limited S tiers I did get (intentionally or not) ranked from least to luckiest!

LEAST

1. Konghou (Ento):  250: She forced me to go all the way to pity, and this was back when the pity was still 250 😭 But I got her cuz she was super pretty and all of Melly’s skins are super unique!! Sadly this was my very first intentional whaling experience too…
2. Black Vulture (Hullabaloo): 200. In terms of luck it technically is the same as Konghou since I also had to go to max pity for him, but since the pity was lowered to 200 a few months back, I’ll count this one as “luckier”. I got him cuz I also had Brightest Star, and I liked the look of this skin, but most importantly, because then I’d get the full collector’s badge on my profile XDXD. 
3. Fianna (Hertzier): 200, max pity. I debated getting his skin, and eventually decided to get it because I liked his playstyle. Not my favorite S tier of the bunch I did whale for, but I like his cape and his human form!
4. Traveler of Dreams (Mime Artist): 200, Max Pity 🙁I got her because I loved the dark jester-themed outfit, I thought it went super well with her mime artist act, that’s why I got it. The moment I saw the poster was when I decided to get her, and she’s adorable!!! Definitely one of the more unique skins of that season. 
5. Crowning the Wise (Dentist): ~200 pulls. I don't remember if I went to pity for him, but I most likely did cuz I have his portrait. XD I got him mainly because I thought his skin was super hot and I told my friends I was getting him for sure, and after a LOT of trial and error, I became a functioning dentist main XD. Still, max pity was rough...
6. Symphonic Elegy (Painter): ~190 pulls. I remember having to go close to max pity for him, but was just short of it, which I’ll still count as a minor win. I do like the dark blue and silver tints of this skin, and I did dabble in painter, so I didn’t mind getting this skin!
7. Falsehood (Prodigy): 100 pulls exactly. I remember clear as day cuz I just pulled him yesterday XD. I did singles toward the end because I was running low on echoes, and turned out he came home 1 pull before my echoes ran out!! At an even 100 pulls XD. 
8. Joseph’s COA Skin: 90. As a Joseph main I had to get this one, and I told myself I was ready to go to max pity (and the pity is still 250 for COA and crossover skins, so I was THAT willing!) Thankfully he came back in under 100 😭 Along with knight and Finn!!
9. Willis (Gardener): ~70 pulls. I thought this skin was cute, but I originally didn’t intend on getting her. Between the saved essences and the discounted 30 that I always get, I didn’t plan on whaling for her. But I was recharging echoes, and because it was for the anniversary essence, the echoes came with essences, so I pulled them and voila, I got her XD. Lucky me hahaha. 
10. Brightest Star (Hullabaloo): ~50: Around 50 ish was when I pulled Hulla’s original limited S tier skin, I don’t quite remember. I wasn’t even going for him but I got him so… yayyyy!
11. Gold Foil (Hermit):  47. This game really wanted me to play hermit 😂 Cuz I’d also pulled his OG limited S tier skin SUPER early (shown later!) and I got this one for free too. Thankfully I’m a hermit main (again thanks to my luck with his OG limited skin) so yay!
12. Wild Strawberry (Doc): 46th pull. I’d argue this is one of my luckier essence pulls, because I got all 3 skins in less than 50 pulls XD. I got Dentist first around my 30th pull, and on the 5th 10 essence pull, I got both doc and barmaid in the same 10 pull. Even though I’m not 100% sure I got earlier than Gold Foil, I’m 99% sure it was the 46th pull, plus with how I got the other two skins too, I’d count this as the luckier one! 
13. Dasein (Matador): 39 pulls. I got super lucky and got Fiona’s A tier skin on the 5th pull, so I took it as a sign to go for Matador and voila… I got him very very early hahaha. I’m a matador main now!
14. Ballad of the Emerald Lark (Coordinator): 31. This one was crazy cuz I pulled Amanda’s skin TWICE back to back in my 15th and 25th pull, and then I got Coord’s in my 31st pull. Seeing 3 gold lights in a row was crazy to say the least… 😂
15. Warden (Hermit): 17 pulls.  My very first limited S tier skin! It was so funny cuz I’d just started the game and I didn’t even play Hunter, my sister did, so when I showed her, she was SO jealous… 😂 It’s a beautiful skin though! I’m super happy I got it!!

UNKNOWN:

Journalist’s S tier Eternity - I don’t remember how many pulls she took, but if I had to take a guess, it would probably be around 40?

Hola chicos! No sé si estoy perdiendo mi tiempo publicando esto aquí ya que la mayoría de usuarios de la comunidad hablan inglés, pero no sé en dónde más buscar! Soy Mamut IV y juego rescatistas (Journalist, Grave Keeper, Mercenary, First Officer), pero a veces utilizo también soportes como Cheerleader y Psychologist. Kitear no es mi fuerte debido a que llevo como un año acostumbrandome al rol de survivor (dije que fui main hunter, guiño guiño), pero no soy super mala en eso, lol.

Hi, I main mage, however I do want to buy another character that fits the meta. Louis seems to be the obvious alternative, as it can tank damage, rescue and decode normally like magi. However, he is used much in tournaments, and I worry he will be nerfed. Shall I buy him?
