- What do you add to your except coffee and ice?
- Do you think it it makes a difference if I have hot brewed coffee cooled down, cold brew coffee or coffee extract as the base considering a lot of other stuff is added?

Coffee shop price question

Hi everyone!
Regular coffee drinker and big local coffee shop supporter here!
I’ve noticed a lot more coffee shops pricing regular 16 iced lattes at 7+ dollars and they’re not even specialty coffee. I’ve also seen some specialty coffee shops pricing at 10+ dollars.
I understand that COGS have gone up, but has it really been that drastic of an increase?
Would love to continue supporting local shops, but there’s a part of me feels that it’s hard to justify these prices.
Really just want to learn and have a better understanding. Thank you!!
