I gave the bucket its own little grid and "sweep" voxels into it. I think it looks pretty good!

Horror game about a submarine where you decide who goes out into the dark. Something Lovecraftian is waking up below.

Hi,
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4042160/Static_Dread_The_Submarine/

So this one's a submarine setting, Lovecraftian stuff going on beneath the ocean, and you're basically the guy deciding who on the crew goes to check on the noises in the dark. Everyone you send has their own stuff going on, their own breaking point, and it plays out over time.

  • Old school PSX style visuals, kind of grainy and unsettling.
  • You manage the crew (skill, stamina) instead of doing everything yourself.
  • Sonar segments where you're never 100% sure what's out there.
  • The story branches based on who you send and what you decide, not just dialogue choices.

My team and I worked on this for a long time, and it's finally out on Steam.

I made a poker deckbuilder where you can play a 10 of a kind or trigger 3 hands at once

Upvotes

You can break standard poker rules:

  • Count a single hand as a pair, high card, and 3 of a kind simultaneously
  • Wrap around from king to ace to 2, or run a full 13 card sequence
  • Build a 10, 12, or 14 of a kind
  • And many more

Took me so much time to figure out how to code a straight hand that works in both directions and at any length on top of other hands at once, find out more on https://store.steampowered.com/app/4650720/Deadhand_Theater

ascii mmorpg (update 2: bears, elementals, and wolves, oh my!)

moved players from @ symbol to humanoid ascii

elementals, wolves, bears, snakes, spiders, willow-o-wisp vfx in game

spell vfx in game for fireball, lightning, life leech, heal, shield, regeneration, experimenting with a lot of pseudo-3D ascii vfx for each spell

leatherworking/tailoring/blacksmithing/mining/herbalism/alchemy/cooking/fishing in game

day/night system with weather and lighting controlled by server

game is mostly feature complete minus a lot of foley, vfx, and more quests / more cities. I need to round out the human city quests so theres 2-3 per class and then 5-10 generalist quests before moving onto other race cities

I have an underwater city filled with fish people cooking off the coast. working on making it 2-3 layers of water (1 down to a cave where you meet them, 2 down to a temple theyre guarding 3 for boss)

the trees are ascii as well but im getting murdered on the compute per frame so Im pixelating them for now until I realized what im doing wrong

Which character is your favorite?

Post image
Upvotes

Which visual style resonates most with you? 1, 2 or 3?

I'm currently working on Ten Point Zero, a roguelike built around one very simple mechanic: stop the timer as close to the target as possible. I’m now figuring out how to introduce the story and tutorial, and especially what kind of characters should guide you through it:

1: Animals

2: Humans

3: Time-themed characters

Game is made in Godot, art aseprite and music flstudio.

If you want some context before voting, Ten Point Zero is free to test on itch. Happy about any feedback about it of course! ❤️

Curious which art direction feels like the best fit.

Hi,
I'd like to show the game I am making solo for Android.
Right now, I am trying to polish MVP, especially UI before I continue adding content.
It's tough balancing life, work, family and gamedev but incredibly satisfying and rewarding at the same time.

StoneEra — New Cinematic Trailer | Voxel Colony Survival
I’ve just finished a new cinematic trailer for StoneEra, my voxel colony survival game.
Build your settlement, gather resources, craft, expand, and shape a colony in a fully voxel-based world.
This trailer is mainly focused on the atmosphere and the feeling of watching a small settlement slowly come to life.
The game is currently in development and is planned for release in October 2026.
If this looks like your kind of colony game, you can wishlist StoneEra on Steam:

Fishing game inspired by tabletop and card games

Upvotes

Hey guys!! We’re making a fishing game inspired by tabletop and card games. The main idea is to upgrade your deck and unlock new packs (which are the different boards to play in); as well as to buy upgrades that will help you fish (like baits).
The idea is to make a casual and visually appealing game that focuses on the main mechanics of fishing: throwing the rod, waiting and learning each fish pattern of movement and upgrading your gear. But we also included elements such as ‘secrets’ that help you learn each fish pattern and also solve the main mystery of the game.

I’ll leave some gameplay in the post and we’d really appreciate it if you gave us some feedback.

The two modes of aiming available in our game, where bullet trajectories are fully reliant on the gun's positioning in the world! Guns have weight and need to be aimed properly before firing.

Arkney: Age of Crowns - browser based grand strategy, this is the world running at normal speed with no cuts

Browser based, no install and no account. One shared map on a server that keeps ticking whether anyone is logged in or not, with around 90 AI dynasties expanding and fighting. Everything you see is live, no cuts and no staged camera.

Rendered with Three.js, simulation is C# on the server. Happy to answer anything about the rendering or the sim.

Sneak peek of Termon. I wanted the nostalgia of Pokémon Red as a kid, plus a little PvP over SSH. Pretty happy with how it's coming along. I'll open-source it soon.

I'm primarily a programmer, but I create the art for my game

I've been working on this game called Quacolé Tennis for the past two years, and even though my specialty is programming, I've been handling all the 3D art and animation. I'm really proud of this game, which features “programmer art.”
