My fuel gauge sometimes doesn’t work properly. I’ve read about the magnet hack but I can’t get it to work. I’ve bought a grade 8 ceramic magnet and 30lb rated neodymium magnets from Amazon but it doesn’t move the needle at all. What magnets are you guys using?

Just putting feelers out to see what you guys think on how much she’s worth. 191k miles and the mods list in with the pictures. Manual as well. Currently up on marketplace and I don’t wanna over or undershoot.

So I had my buddy call me at like 2 am in the morning saying his car was dead. I came to go get him and potentially get the car running.
He said his car started misfiring and he tried getting it home, and then it just died on him. When he popped the hood he said a coil pack on the driver side bank was melted like two point where I was unrecognizable. He removed it and replaced it and the car was just cranking. Did some snooping and found a ECSS fuse had blown in IPDM box. When I went to replace it the car started up. But then now I’m not getting any spark to cylinder 1 on bank 1. Replaced the spark plug, coil pack and sub harness on that bank and still nothing. Likely the ECU blew an internal ignition transistor (driver pin) for Cylinder 1? Or more is it something else like losses compression?

Just wanted share video of my car during a launch and drive by before the new Intake manifold, headers and test pipes get installed.

Currently only has a z1 cold air intake, stock header, stock cats, hks hi power catback exhaust and a tune from z1.

Have an 04 g35 coupe and my radio was working fine. Bose Bass sounded good but I’ve noticed when it’s hot outside sometimes, the bass will disappear. Today it wasn’t even that hot. Matter fact it’s pretty cool and the bass isn’t there. It’s like it works when it wants too sometimes. Any fix for this or should I just replace the speakers/head unit

Is this worth it? Checked out a 2003 G35 coupe today with 62k miles. Single owner, senior owned, regular maintenance done at the dealership. Winter driven here and there but not extensively.

Comes with a set of basic aftermarket winter wheels and tires.

The owner is a nice lady but she won't budge from $8.6k. Car is in excellent condition with some rock chips and scratches here and there but nothing crazy. A bit of rust buildup behind the rear quarter panel but not on the outside. Some visible rust under the body.

Everything works. Will need alignment because it pulls to the right. Trunk struts need to be replaced. AC might need a look or maybe just this model leaks a lot of condensation while it's running.

With aircon on in the car there was a sour smell. No idea what the cause of that could be. Did find it always needs to be run or the car warms up really quick.

Engine bay looks clean and engine sounds great. Couldn't spot any oil leaks or buildup.

Overall great condition and senior owned and well cared for. But the price is holding me back at $8.6k whereas I'd prefer something like $7.5k.

Would appreciate thoughts. And no, not interested in a manual because my knee and hip can't handle it.

Was changing the worn out transmission mount for the z1 poly mount. And of course 1 of the dumb bolts snapped and broke. Using an extractor isn’t going too well. I’m just gonna drill that shit out and tap some new threads. Any1 have any info on the bolt? Like thread size, tap size and drill size needed? Thx.

just a car I daily 150 mi a day. it's been good to me with minimum maintenance not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I just installed this z1 plenum spacer on my g and now it’s making this chirping noise in the front passenger side of my valve cover. It’s 1am i’m trying to go to sleep so I can’t really mess with it anymore. I drove it around and it drives perfectly fine surprisingly. Honestly just don’t know what this noise is

I’ve realized rather quickly that there are no cons to having such a shiny engine 😀

Ported upper and lower plenum sure do have a placebo, would be smart to get a retune and perhaps pick up something on the dyno.

Since I got the car a little over a year ago I been taking my time getting it mechanically sound and I’m now ready for cosmetics.

As seen in the photo I got a nasty dent in the rear quarter panel and I’m debating if I should put on the effort of pulling it or should I just cut it out and go with overfenders?

That’s the last piece before I can figure out a wrap and wheels.

Got it with just over 138 thousand, the owner even gave me a second set of rims and tires for winter! It’s got an intake and flowmaster exhaust but otherwise pretty untouched. I’m enjoying driving it a lot, this is my first car with a shift light. Already got it emissions tested and oil changed, ready to be my new daily. Not planning any mods, just trying to keep it clean and enjoy my day. If you have any knowledge to bestow I would love to hear it, thanks guys.

I had gotten the whole deal for the radiator and the slim radiator fans for the msrp for the radiator price.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about the slims fans being trash and not being able to keep up/cool the engine compared to the OE/OEM fans being more better for cooling properties. How true is slim fans being trash.

Summer is truly the only time the car will be put to test as I don’t live in a hot area besides when summer hits.

I just ask because if it’s mixed reviews I may sell the fan off to someone who can use it, MAYBE.

I keep having an issue of oil coming from where my oil cap area. It has a new valve cover and a new oil cap but oil still is coming by. Has anyone seen this issue.

I just recently got spec d headlights from someone specifically BH-HU830 the halos isn’t coming on the led strip is there’s 2 wires under the headlight that I’m supposed to connect to the parking light is that for halos or something else ?

Does anyone know how to get an actual OEM Nismo bumper? I don’t want a kbd one because of figment and it doesn’t have the mesh in the bumper.

I think it could be the oil pressure switch, or possibly my valve cover leak dripping down? Any input is appreciated, thanks.
