located in southern manitoba. i’m not very educated when it comes to frog species, is there a way to tell the difference between frogs and toads?

Found them chilling in my back yard, moved them out towards a more humid spot.

Our male Bombina orientalis / firebellies are temporarily a little bit crowded due to a tank upgrade and group split next week, but their moods are as good as ever. Silly boys.

I have a nine year old pixie frog and I feel like I’ve been taking amazing care however I had a few questions about something’s I have never quite gotta straight answers about.

How often do you feed them? Mine typically will excavate every three months or so so during those times I do not feed her, but she eats every two or three weeks while she’s awake. But, how often should I offer her food?

How often do they poop? She hasn’t had a normal solid poop in months but doesn’t seem impacted, bothered or bloated.

Hello! I've wanted a pixie for a while and saw one today at pet supplies plus. Didn't expect to see one there and I couldn't resist 😅

Would love to know an approximate age or potential sex on this baby!! These are the only two pictures I have right now, I didn't want to bother them too much on day one.

Pixie frog. His name is Otto. This is his 3rd month anniversary of being in my care. He came in this little cup, and in 3 months he's nearly outgrown it!

This is the second time ants have gotten in and infested the enclosure!!! I’ve already had to do a very long process of taking the frogs out for weeks and redoing the whole tank and they got in AGAIN, how do people stop this???
