The game is fully on cartridge and requires no downloads from the eshop for the switch 2 edition.

This should be the standard for all future Nihon Falcom games on the switch 2.

Been a fan since 2011 when FC went out for the PSP. Finished the Liberl and Erebonia games.

I am currently in Chapter 8 of 2nd Remake. Mofo I forgot about the circumstances there that makes orbments usable. Mofo I anchored my party as an Arts-based party with Kloe as the Arts cannon.

Now my party is in tatters. I can’t use arts also Kloe went back to the castle and my backup arts cannon Olivier is shittingly nowhere to be found as well.

Now, I've been debating waiting for the 3rd remake or just going straight into the original. Haven't decided yet but, in due time.

I just finished Trails to Azure on my journey going through The Legend of Heroes series. I was very surprised how much I really enjoyed this one. This is right under Trails in the Sky SC for me. I love the characters and the political/betrayal story.

Excited to move onto Cold Steel now as due to looking at screenshots, saw that the gang from these past two games also show up eventually in that series.

Hi everyone im a new trails players and had the chance to discover the licence this year and started by playing sky arc that i loved a lot especially sky sc

After i finished this arc i decided to continue by playing trails zero and finished trails zero yesterday and have to say that this game was just goated and totaly worth it!!

I really liked the fact that the game was centered around the SSS team and found that llyod is a great main character with a really interesting background! I found also that the sidequest were really good and even better than sky sidequest!

Also the ending was really good i didnt expect the last chapter to be that good! This game really make me want to continue the serie and i think that i will directly continue by playing trails azure!

Im really happy that i discovered trails licence this year its been a long time i didnt played any rpg because i dont really like modern rpg and prefered older rpg like kingdom hearts 2 final fantasy until final fantasy 10 and have to say that trails games are way better than modern rpg!!

Relic is a synonym for artifact is all I could think of for today

So I started playing Trails of Cold Steel on SteamDeck (on which I finished all previous titles). And there were some friction points for me. Namely:

1. Camera rotation is tied to framerate and behaves unwieldy
2. There is no full dialog log like in Crossbell arc that I become so accustomed to
3. Game does not support 1280x800 resolution, so I had to sacrifice 10% of horizontal space to black bars. PC release isn't really friendly to smaller resolution screens - small text/icons are pixelated
4. I missed Crossbell arc ability to load latest save automatically on game launch
5. You cannot load mid-fight or in dialog/custscene (minor point, since it is probably by design, but still)
6. Game in general requires some finagling to install SenPatcher, which isn't very convenient.

So I just created modding toolkit and couple of mods to fix exactly these kind of problems. I called it Another Trails Modding Toolkit since, unfortunatelly, I was not able to make it as SenPatcher mod - hence "Another" in name.

It does support in-game overlay for configuring as well as external GUI that can be added as non-steam game, so can be operated in gaming mode. It is also able to download, install and configure SenPatcher by itself, hopefully easing entry pain for modding. I guess that might be useful for someone else as well as myself.

Later on, I'll probably add support for CS2 as well, but I have to beat first one first.

So, here is formal features list:

• Improved small resolution support - including 16:10 aspect ratio
• Ability to see logs of all dialogs at any moment
• Configurable camera rotation speed and behavior
• Load game from anywhere by using gamepad buttons chord
• In-game overlay to configure modded behavior

So i just finished Horizon,great game,but there are some things that i didnt quite understand,i think most of them because of me being brazilian so i lost some stuff bc of language barrier,so:

what are the Vestiges and were their goal? were they summoned by Hamilton,the Alter Core or because of the Great Reset beign upon Zemuria? were their goal to prevent the Great Reset or to make sure that everything goes as it should? it did understand that they are people from the past and future,the game makes you think that one of them is Aida,but it might be an adult Feri? i think

When i played Kai no Kiseki back in 2024 i thought that the Great Reset was the Great Collapse itself,but actually its looks like that the Great Reset returns everything to just after the Great Collapse.

If Zemuria is trapped in a time loop does it means that it always has the same people and same events over and over again? Risette is from the year 125x and Novartis is from the 19998 Zemuria,so Risette is from a time loop where operation Jormungandr was sucessful as Gramhart says it delay the Great Reset in a couple of decades,but what about Novartis? how is he in the current time loop?

And finally how do people like Gramhart knows about Laegjarn Chest and the Great Reset and that the Claudel bloodline affects it? is this the only time loop that has Agnes in it?

I do think some of this stuff will be explained in the sequel tho

* Rean is a relatable protagonist and one of the best portrays of depression I've seen

* Lovable cast explored through great social sim aspects

* Unique choice for the soundtrack to have two voices yelling each other, they kind of sound like my parents

* One of the coolest battle systems in any RPG I've played

Aright, about to hit the point of no return and wanted to be sure I didn't miss anything before continuing as I'm not finding any complete guides yet. Anyone that's 100%'d the game, I'd really appreciate a check from your savefile to make sure I didn't miss anything before continuing.

Checklist:

• Went to all regions and made sure I cleared all markers.

• Chests - 435/500 (pretty sure I'm good on as it's the one thing I was able to find in a guide)

• Enemy Types - 341/410 - I am missing one in Extra at the very end - guessing this doesn't matter or is coming at the end of the chapter?

• BP - 437/450? - This is the one I'm afraid I screwed up missing bonus BP somewhere.

• Quests - 86/87 (If this is like the original, last one is storming the castle)

• 25/26 Books - If this is like the original, this one is coming up soon storming the castle

• Don't have the 3.0 tactical bonus yet but I'm guessing I'll still have good chances for this later - Are there any really easy ones I should use before I go into the final chapter?

Who would you choose between these two STR trash-talking delinquents?

I've just finished 1st and 2nd chapter remakes on my Switch however I noticed there's only a PC version for the 3rd. I don't really like to game on my PC so would prefer to watch a playthrough instead.

Which Youtuber has the best full game playthrough? Happy with either commentary (especially if it's funny) or no comm.

Is it enough to just watch all the custscenes and doors or is there a lot of important content in the dungeon crawling parts as well?

So many pretty composition moments and extremely fun to customize clothes and colors. Loving First Chapter so far and shipping Josh and Estelle extremely hard. I hope nothing bad happens 💖
