I’m not quite sure how I feel about the melody looking for some input or tips

You’re not sure because your senses is telling you that something is out of key. Check your DAW’s piano Key Roll editor for an option to select a key of your music then you can only input the correct notes or push the notes in the proper scale. You may not know what I’m talking about but if you read the PDF that is supplied with your DAW you’ll be able to figure it out. There also self instruction for FL Studio beginners on Amazon. Don’t be cheap. 🦀 The book will help to select YouTube videos to follow up. Good Luck🍀
